We had our wedding at Whispering Oaks Winery this year. I was planning from out of state and booked this venue after only seeing it in person for about 30 minutes. When I tell you my wedding day felt like an actual dream! Everything about the venue was gorgeous. I didn't realize its full potential for beauty until the actual day of, seeing it at night with all of the lights on. Erinn was extremely sweet and thoughtful during the entire planning process, and such a sweetheart on the actual day! She was there when we needed her but otherwise let us soak up our day with our people. We took advantage of the horse & carriage add-on the venue offers, and it was a HIT with our guests while also being a great deal. The photos with the horse are stunning and unique. The gentleman who was in charge with that even gave our guests little rides in the carriage around the property, making my flower girls dreams come true! It was a truly special addition the venue offered. Their property is just absolutely stunning also, everywhere you look are more photo opportunities and more beauty and you don't have to worry about transporting your wedding party or guests between locations. Once you are there you can just let the day unfold, trusting that Erinn has everything on time behind the scenes! The venue even gifted my new husband and I some wine during the reception and the staff was dancing along with us at the bar! It truly was great vibes, great food, and great people all around to work with and celebrate with. Initially I was so nervous picking this venue and planning from so far away, but looking back NO OTHER VENUE would have been able to be as perfect and gorgeous as this one was for the day I wanted. I am extremely grateful and happy every time I get to look back at my photos from this beautiful spot. My new husband and I can't wait to visit for dinner and relive our memories the next time we are in town!
Have an excellent experience with my family. The wine tasting and server were amazing. I loved the dry wine tasting option. She explained the description and story behind each and every wine. Will make this place a regular stop on my visits to the area
We called in advance to see if we needed reservations. We walked in and the brown haired lady behind the bar at first ignored us. Then she said, do you have a reservation she said we need a reservation to sit outside. While disappointed, we said ok. She told us to go into the little room. This was fine as we simply wanted to spend time together.
Stephanie waited on us.
We ordered 5 flights and a “cheese and fruit plate.” And a bottle of wine to go. She never came back to see if we wanted an additional glass or anything. So we decided to leave.
As we were leaving, there were PLENTY of tables outside. We felt unwanted and a bother to your winery. My folks are regular visitors there and wanted to share this place.
$101 not worth it at all.

We had our wedding at Whispering Oaks Winery and it was phenomenal! I could not have asked for more from a venue! Erinn (the owner) helped me through everything and put me at such ease throughout the entire experience! Not only did they put out my decor but also assisted in organizing the wedding party for the ceremony. I was stress free and relaxed on my wedding day just as it should be!! I would recommend this venue to any and every one!
Came near closing, but caught the sunset from an incredible view, over a really unique bottle of wine ???? we got the dry blueberry wine, which was excellent and different. Tried a couple others, but this one was worth ordering a bottle. The wine is at a good price and value too.
I’m not normally one to leave a review and I’m typically very understanding and lenient when things go slow or are wrong. We must not have gone to the same place that everyone else did in the other reviews.
We went on a slow Friday afternoon, the woman behind the bar, Stephanie, didn’t acknowledge us until we said hello and didn’t seem interested in being too helpful.
There may have been three other parties there at most. We sat outside and ordered a few of their different flights which took forever to come out. We’d also ordered a bottle of wine and it took 30 minutes to get it.
We ordered a few food items which took an hour and a half to come out. They fed us some line about only being able to cook four flatbreads at once. In the hour it took to get our food, maybe only 3 flatbreads came out so the math doesn’t work there.
When we finally mentioned the food taking a while they dropped off our hummus plate which should take 60 seconds at most to assemble and took another 20 minutes on everything else.
When the server brought our bill, there was 0 acknowledgment of the poor experience or what had gone awry.
This was the worst dining experience I’ve had in a while.
Erin, the owner was so helpful with planning the details of our wedding. She helped coordinate with our other vendors and made sure everything went smoothly. The location is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are so amazing, polite and helpful.
Horrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would! Terrible service, food was cold, and don't get me STARTED on the wine. Award winning where? Waitress came over one time total after getting our drinks. Disappointed. We waited 2 hours to get our food and we still had some orders wrong and had to wait even longer?! The manager didn't listen when we tried to express our concerns and acted like we were an inconvenience. Maybe cook the food right and make sure the restaurant you run, runs smoothly. We had to order pizza on the way home because we were so unsatisfied. Never going back. Wouldn't recommend.
