I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Whispering Canyon Cafe! The food was absolutely fantastic – every bite of our breakfast was delicious. But what really set this place apart was the incredible service. The servers were not just attentive but also made the entire meal so much fun with their lively and engaging personalities. Timothy truly made the experience memorable for everyone in our group. We all enjoyed breakfast so much, and I can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a place with great food and a lively atmosphere, Whispering Canyon Cafe is the place to be!
I think our server was below par for what this restaurant normally would have. I don’t know this for a fact because this was our first visit but the tables around us seem to be enjoying themselves more. Eating here is supposed to be more interactive and fun where for us it was just a decent meal. He threw the straws and napkins on the table like they do but when I asked for ketchup he never brought any. Understand I didn’t actually need any but from what I’ve read it is an event you want to experience. I heard other tables around us getting ketchup but we never did. As with all Disney restaurants the food is overpriced but you accept that when eating on property. We ate here specifically to experience some of the quirkiness and were disappointed. The food was good, not great but good. I would come back again.
I adore the Whispering Canyon Cafe! Some of the most delicious smoked meats and sides I’ve ever had in my life. The food is served family style with all you care to eat refills! Everything here is delicious and while they offer mostly smoked meat, there are a couple of vegetarian or vegan options. My personal favorite is the smoked pulled pork as well as the brisket and the smoked sausage. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and smooth, the veggies are fresh and tasty, and the salmon had a nice smoky flavor without being overbearing.
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you love meat and a relaxed cabin vibe, you’ll love the Whispering Canyon Cafe!
Whispering Canyon is very nostalgic for my mom & I… we used to come here back in the 90s during our stays at the Wilderness Lodge! And dinner here, many years later, was WONDERFUL! We got the allergy-friendly traditional skillet.???? The meat was moist & tender - cooked beautifully! And Chris, our server, was so sweet. We highly recommend!❤️????
Delicious barbecue! The skillets are the best. TONS of food. I was super hungry so didn’t remember to take pictures of the food, but you can see how many boxes we ended up taking with us, including a milkshake to go! (Yes, milkshakes are also unlimited). Super fun service and ambiance. Great for families with kids (check the video out).
You must try this restaurant if you like to laugh! The wait staff are too funny. You can order individual meals or a never-ending meal. The food is great. Be sure to ask for ketchup.
We love eating here. It’s on our regular rotation every time we go visit Mickey. We always get the unlimited dinner skillets. There isn’t a huge selection of skillets or a big difference between the skillets, but what they have is good and we love it. Also one of the most reasonable all you care to enjoy meals on property. Probably some of the best mashed potatoes we’ve ever had. The cast members often pull shenanigans like filling your table with ketchup bottles. It’s not over the top, but you can tell them you’d rather just have a quiet meal if you want. Going again in June and we’re going again for dinner and also trying their breakfast for the first time.
We love the whispering canyon cafe!! It's an amazing place to come and eat! Breakfast is our favorite here!! Such a fun and truly one of a kind restaurant! There is no where else like it!! Lee (although we didn't get him this year sadly) is our favorite waiter and we have been coming down here over the last 4 years. This is a must have for my family!! Great for allergies too
