Best WLM Reviews

It was a little difficult to locate. Need a sign or 2 on the main road to help locate. Very unassuming place on outside. But...the atmosphere was nice and laid back. It was mid-day and there wasn't lots going on. They have several different sizes of glasses for a beer pour and you can sample them as well. Menu is focused on pizza. Good overall but a little pricey for me.
We had high expectations based on the reviews we read. The servers were all nice and gave us prompt service. There was no smell of meat smoking when we arrived at the restaurant inside or outside. It seemed a little strange. We ordered brisket dinners. The meat was served luke warm, with cold BBQ sauce. The green beans were cooked to death, and the other sides were underwhelming. The drink menu on the table needed to be replaced badly. It was worn out and frankly gross. There was no music playing to help the ambience.
Whiskey Trail has great service and a cool atmosphere, unfortunately my ribs and cornbread was too cool as well. I had ordered a half rack of ribs (wet), baked beans, fried okra and cornbread. Flavor of all it was good, the beans and okra were hot but the okra didn’t taste fresh. Probably previously frozen. The ribs were a bit tough but flavorful. However, both the ribs and cornbread wasn’t even heated up. They were both cold to the touch.
Low key, no frills and great meat. Fun waitress and quick service too. If you want linen napkins and dress up then go elsewhere. But if you want the most tender ribs, brisket and even smoked chicken then git over there now!
Our server was great, and the atmosphere was great. The food we got wasn't the best. The Barell head sampler a 4 meat sampler, and everything except the ribs were dry. The ribs were perfect. The appetizer had to be re made due to overcooked cheese and dry meat. We will try it again just to see how the food is cause the service was great and the atmosphere
We are not originally from Tn. But recently moved several miles from Tullahoma. Some friends in our town suggested we drive over to this restaurant for dinner. We had no idea it existed and we ship in Tullahoma frequently. This was a great surprise! The food was good. Lots of happy customers. Many families with small children enjoying the food. We love that! Our waitress was spot on with her expeditious service and friendly attitude. We will be back and will bring others with us. Great job!!!
Had 3 sliders with chicken, brisket and pork. All were not good. Dry (think it was from day before) and not temperature hot! Fried pickles and onion rings were hot and tasty. Worst BBQ I ever had. Waitress was very good.
Went for a Valentine's Day lunch today with the hubby. It was our first time visiting, and it was a very pleasant experience. We started with the fresh pork rinds. There should have been a warning on the menu that the portions are large enough to feed 4-6 people. The hubby ordered the pulled pork platter with a loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. I ordered the barrel head sampler with fried okra and green beans, and we both had the sweet cornbread. The meat on the ribs just fell off the bone, and the brisket was exceptionally tender. The chicken was delicious with their Alabama white sauce, and the green beans were some of the tastiest I've ever had. Everything was good, but we ended up bringing about a pound of the meat home. VERY large portions VERY reasonably priced.
Our waitress was Mela and she was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
