Best WLM Reviews
We were here on a Monday around 5pm. We waited about 10 minutes before our server finally came to the table. Overall, service was incredibly slow. One table walked out after waiting for 10+ minutes without anyone acknowledging that they were there. Another table went to the bar to get their own drinks.
The food was OK. The grouper was undercooked and the Cajun pasta tasted good but had way too much sauce. The kids liked their cheeseburgers and the mixed drinks were good.
The atmosphere was good, we sat on the outdoor deck and the kids enjoyed the small playground and cornhole boards. The view of the bay was basically the highlight.
Excellent experience. Born and raised local visiting for July 4, we had an amazing dinner with an even better view. We ordered pulled pork loaded nachos (best plate of nachos we've ever had), mahi tacos, and drinks. Next time I'm in town, I'll more than likely be back.
Whiskey joes was a great restaurant ! We loved the nachos they had ! I do not recommend the gumbo if you do not like a fish taste , some people probably love it but it wasn't our cup of tea and that's okay ! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is amazing ! It's a very relaxed spot and would be a great place for couples or families to enjoy some good food and views! We will definitely be back !
Dined here on Wednesday evening around 530pm. There was a sandwich board type sign out front that said "Happy Hump day - $3 house margaritas". We each (3 of us) ordered one. For dinner we had gator bites which came out hot and were pretty tasty. I had blackened chicken tacos. These were bland and cold. There was no seasoning on the chicken at all.
We ordered another round of margaritas while finishing dinner. The check came and the 6 margaritas were $9 each!! I mentioned it to the waiter, he said he was sorry but the lower price was only during happy hour. I commented on the sign out front and he said he would talk to his manager. The manager came out and apologized and said "the kids" don't always know what's going on. He took 3 of the drinks off the bill.
I paid the bill and then realized I still was overcharged (3 at $9 each). I requested a printed receipt but did not receive one.
If you decide to eat here, clarify the cost of the drinks, and watch your bill!
Had the swashbuckler basket shrimp was good, scallops good, fish was mostly batter, wanted sweet potato fries it was a upcharge heck no, Cole slaw was good but just a little small cup. We Had dozen oysters from Mississippi not salty at all wasted my money there that's not there fault, ought to get one sample on oysters anywhere before buying. Service was wonderful, staff was friendly and helpful wife had fish tacos wish was way to salty said she should have sent them back ,chips were very crisp. The manager did come by several times asking how was everything told her about over salty tacos but oh well .overall it was ok not great nor bad. Sorry no before pics we was so hungry and tired from beach and blue angels I said after I forgot pics but I got the aftermath.
Just another over-priced beach chain restaurant...after being seated we waited 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to take welcome us and take our order. We were a table of two and we were there before the dinner rush on a Monday night. We had the fish tacos and the fish 'n chips...neither were anything to write home about. I won't go back unless it is just to sit in the sand and order a beer.
The food was great and the location was perfect for the fireworks.
You can either dine or hit the bar as a walk in but depending if you want to be inside or outside if you have a larger party, recommend making reservations.
Nice indoor seating area but definitely recommend eating outside by the water.
The Mac n cheese (only on the kids menu unfortunately) was amazing the first time I visited this restaurant. It's homemade and not cheap powder cheese or the plastic cheese sauce. This visit unfortunately didn't hit and there was a long hair in it ????.
The fries are amazing not super thick but fried in a delicious coating.
The mahi mahi tacos were ok but the tortillas were definitely NOT fresh as they were hard along the edges and had a stale taste. Comes with a ton of fresh chips and salsa.
Employees were friendly, nice, and quick.
Maybe this was just an off day as the first time was lit. Would try again for sure.
