We stopped tonight to have dinner only to find out the kitchen had closed at least 1.5 hours before normal closing time. According to the bartender, it was a slow night, so the cook went home. Not starting out well and this place is so dark inside. We then decided to maybe have a drink before going to another restaurant and after a quick look at the prices, we headed out the door. Serious, that much for a glass of beer, now we know why there was only one person at the bar and a group of four playing pool. This place is a good size and to have no one there, even on a Wednesday night, was pretty revealing to say the least. There is free parking in front of the bar and more at the back of the business. The bar has a dance floor and pool tables, and we heard they have music on the weekend. We should note that the bartender was very polite and apologized that the kitchen had closed early. Well at least we know on our next trip to Big Bear Lake we will not be dining or drinking here.
Don't have really much bad to say about this place. But then again I don't have much good to say. Had to go through the security check on the way in. Hey, this is Big Bear, is there problems here? We went in just for drinks and only had one because of the super high prices! I've been to bars in major big cities that charged less.
This is a big bar with pool tables and a huge outdoor patio in back. There are several corn-hole games setup for you to play.
So all in all, we were not impressed and will not be going back anytime soon.

This place is a complete joke. I hope the owner reads this review. It was Saturday night, we went around 8:30 PM and ordered two draft beers and a simple cocktail. The server - a big, chubby guy with a strange beard - charged us $40 without even entering the order into the computer (probably hiding it from the owner). This same server overcharged us the night before as well. I know because he charged us $24 for two drinks, while just 15 minutes earlier, another server charged us $20 for the exact same round.
On weekends, they only accept cash payments, with no receipts and no drink menus provided, so they can essentially charge whatever they want. To top it off, the food was terrible - way too salty. We will definitely never go back. There are much better bars in Big Bear, like Murray's Saloon & Eatery.
We stopped for a quick lunch and the food was outstanding. We sat outside and got the sliders and pork taquitos. The service was good but it's not full service. It seems like it would be but it's not. You order at the bar and get a buzzer for when your food is ready. I didn't love the signs to clean up your own mess. I understand it's not full service but that doesn't mean I'm an employee responsible for keeping it clean. I also overheard two bar patrons discussing how they were both carrying firearms. I give five stars because we had a great time and it's a fantastic patio but there are negatives. Oh, it's cash only too.
I mean we had a lot of fun here. We just came for drinks and dancing and the music was great, playing pool was fun. Its like the only place open late in big bear lol.
We went there with some friends and the waiters with blond and long hair stealed the jackets of my friend. That’s a shame. And the bar is cash only with no receipt, the only ATM in the bar has a $5 fee. DO NOT GO THERE
It's big, it can have live entertainment; it has pool tables, that's cool; it's expensive, this is probably to keep the drunks out and recoup the damages drunks do. That being said, I liked the place, but it's not gonna be my go to spot; I liked the building, good bones. Expected off-hour (dead time during the weekday) drinks to be bigger.
