Gotta check this neighborhood spot out! It's a mixed crowd of young and old. The food is great and there is live music on Sundays. They have a themed night every day of the week. Fellas there's lots of TVs to watch all.your favorite sports teams and they even have a couple.of pool tables. Everyone is on their best behavior and simply there to enjoy themselves.
Only ding I give them is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Definitely need to check those every couple.of hours.
Whiskey BBQ has stepped up their game and renovated. They added a cigar bar backroom and jazz on Sundays. The vibe is great on the weekends.
This place was pleasant and nice however the service wasn't good I only saw two people working the room and they were trying to service tables and the bar giving that it was a Tuesday Evening when we visited the place maybe that's why they didn't have enough waitresses but we booked a party so the should have had more staff on deck in my opinion it was a great night for Karaoke I really enjoyed it this was a plus to the birthday celebration going on besides my cousin there were at least two more celebrations the food was good we had tacos and wings also fish and fries your typical food for a pub or bar over all I enjoyed myself and my drink choice was a Amarillo Sour and it was good as well I would recommend this establishment to someone ????
I just wanted to take a moment to thank Deborah for the wonderful experience at Whiskey BB Que for my birthday party. The food was absolutely delicious, the music was great, and my friends couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had!
It’s a good spot to get some good live music on a Friday or Sunday night. The service & food be on point. A pretty diverse crowd but more so a “Grown Folks” spot where you can Eat & smoke inside (I think) but also have an outdoor patio. I love the servers/bartenders, they pour good & have good suggestions. I have had their BBQ which is so good it don’t need BBQ sauce (in my opinion) but the sauce with it is good. Most times I’m getting jerk chicken egg rolls or the catfish or salmon w/grits.
The live singer they had tonight was HORRID !!!! I’ve come before and ADORED THIS PLACE… TONIGHT, I had to listen to her for 1 hour and a half. SHE WAS TERRIBLE !!! I hope I NEVER hear her again. We planned on leaving at 10:30 and THANK GOD she shut up at 10:22pm. PLEASE send her packing !!
Went here on a Sunday night. It's a lively spot. The drink was STRONG lol. They were out of items on the menu, that I actually wanted. When I receive my order, they had the wrong side item on my plate. When it was brought to the server's attention, their response was, "Oh yeah, we're out of greens too". So they just put what THEY wanted me to have on my plate. I didn't know the customer didn't have a choice in what they pay for. The service is always off at this place, for some reason. V
Went here today with my dad for brunch. We ordered the salmon and grits with eggs. The food came out hot and delicious!! ???? Sunday brunch is from 11:30am to 4pm.. plenty of parking and came in right at 11:30!! Seated and waited on very fast. Definitely check them out for brunch!! Alot of great dishes to choose from.
Arrived at 430pm order 6 peice wing dinner( wanted wings cooked a little harder than normal.) With collards. Patiently waited over 40 minutes.. waitress finally came with my dinner. I checked..the wings were not cooked properly. And the muffins i had requested were missing. BT stated She told them and asked if I wanted to send them back. Which I did. Over 25 minutes later she returned. I peeked in the box .. no muffins. I ask where are the muffins. BT.. said she would get them.. after another ten minutes. No muffins.. mind you my good is getting colder. Which I explain. Still another five minutes for the muffins. Hungry and in pain a go home. Only a few minutes away. I get home.. the Collards and Mac n cheese are slam.. cold. They obviously let the food sit while they tried to correct the chicken. The wings were HORRIBLE. They had taken the wings out of the box and cooked them again. I know this because of the appearance, they were extra extra dry, tasteless and the extra grease form the second cooking was obvious. They were not edible. I spent over an hour and 15 minutes waiting on a terrible meal.
