First of all, thank you Whiskey Bar employees for saving me and my husband's date night!! We loved every minute of this experience!! Awesome atmosphere, awesome drinks, awesome staff and awesome food!!
JUSTIN (our server) was a 20/10, he needs a raise! Talk about a kind spirit, smiled and engaged with us. Checked on us frequently and was just simply a delight.
India (the bartender) and possibly more... not sure... made the absolute best long Island iced tea we've had here.
The food was fresh and hot and not one mistake was made upon delivery. We had everything we asked for and they were perfectly timed.
Appetizers were there in 20 min and then the main meal in 15-17 min. The food was delicious, chicken wings, Buffalo chicken dip, the sink burger waffle fries etc... my husband actually said it was the best meal he's had while eating out at a restaurant in about 10 years. No joke!!
We will def be back and we once again thank you all for such a wonderful experience.
The Cali burger with a fried egg and sweet potato fries was so good. The burger cooked to perfection. It's an Elegant place with old-time ceiling tiles. The staff was amiable and knowledgeable about the menu—lots of parking at and around the restaurant. Downtown is not that big lots of great restaurants to choose from making fresh and flavorful meals.
I've only been here once but I loved it! Atmosphere was great, service was on point and the food was delicious! VERY nice whiskey/bourbon selection ???????? Had the WB(K) burger loaded with Ghost pepper cheese, def recomend it! Buffalo chicken dip with the pepper coated chips was great too, will definitely be back soon!
This is probably my favorite place for a burger in Augusta. They're juicy, clearly farm-to-table, and my order is always correct. The staff is friendly, and if it's busy, you can head next door to their other business, Metro Pub & Coffeehouse, for a beer or coffee that can get charged to your Whiskey Bar Kitchen tab.
Visiting from out of town…put our name on waitlist via Yelp and when we arrived only waited 5 min despite the place looking jammed. Had the edamame hummus with chips and veggies. Tasty but slightly bland. My hubby and I both had the Cali burger (I did mine gluten free). Super tasty and done the way we asked (SUPER WELL DONE). Super friendly and responsive staff. Sav blanc wine was good-hubby enjoyed one of the bourbons. Atmosphere was lively and decor moody. Enjoyed the evening at this place. As a person with celiac, I could navigate the menu with several options. They did not have gluten free roll options.
My family had a girl's day lunch here yesterday and it was wonderful. We did roll kind of deep and they were accommodating to our party size. I believe our waitress name was Ester she was polite and friendly. I would definitely eat here again. Thank you guys for being part of our day.
Great vibe. Went on a Thursday night. Shocked by how many folks are in downtown Augusta on a week night. Waited about 15mins for a table. Service was okay. Menu prices online and on Google are wrong. Most entrees are currently $3 more than listed. Was told I HAD to get a burger, went with the "Metro" it was okay 6/10. Was not served hot just warm. Onion rings are good but they charge. 50 for honey mustard. Absolutely no dessert menu. If you want something sweet you must go next door to "Metro Bar and Pub" for dessert/coffee, less than 10 items available. Likely won't be returning to either.
The food, teriyaki chicken, was really good and a really large portion! They have a LOT of whiskey and a decent beer selection, I just wish they had a larger selection of beers on tap. It is a nice and clean building and atmosphere.
