I took my 6 year old son for a hair. This is a normal monthly thing for him. He is a very respectful calm child so when he was being yelled at by Christine at Whiskers I was very taken back. I sat in the chair about 10 feet from him. I hear and see her slap her hand on her leg and yell at him to stop flinching!!!! I thought wow he is usually really good. So I wait a minute before going over there, I then see two bald spots on his neck. I go over there to see what is going on and she stand in between us and I can’t see the back of his head. When she moves I see cuts all over his neck and ears! I immediately tell her that is why he is flinching is bc you are cutting him! She proceeds to tell me he’s sensitive! I say absolutely not he has never been cut. I ask her to stop cutting his hair and she won’t stop until I got very stern with her to stop touching my child! She then asks the lady across from her to help her. The lady who helped her did a great job fixing his hair. But I am extremely disappointed in everyone of the ladies working there that day. Not one of them took action and apologized. Yes I got a free haircut. But I rather of had good customer service and barber who didn’t cut my sons head up. I would not recommend this place. Never again will I go here.
Whiskers is absolutely fantastic! Both my son and I get our haircuts here, and Kim always does an amazing job. If you are looking for a place to take your little one, they are great. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I can’t recommend Whiskers highly enough.
I have been bringing my boys here for 6 years. Christine has cut my youngest son’s hair since his first cut at 1. He’s now 7 and won’t let anyone else cut his hair except for her, not even me! She has always been the absolute sweetest and done a great job, not to mention a great person. She always allows me to sit in the chair next to her station and chat while she cuts his hair. Sometimes my kiddo isn’t the most talkative and will wiggle, but she’s always been patient and consistent.
My oldest son is almost 16. He has gone to Christine along with multiple other barbers at Whiskers before he finally settled on Kim. He likes the way she does his hair and she provides tons of laughs and a fun atmosphere for a teenager.
10/10 times I will always tell my friends about Whiskers because we love them so much.
Absolutely love this place! The hospitality is top-notch, and the vibe is so cool and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, making it a perfect spot for a fresh cut. My husband always leaves with an amazing haircut thanks to Sandra—she’s truly the best! The service here is exceptional, and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
Whiskers is welcoming from the beginning. Friendly staff greet you and offer you a beverage, they have large leather seats which are comfortable to wait in, and the stylist listen and deliver great haircuts and beard trims. Worth the price.
First time using Whiskers and it will be my go to from now on. Kim took great care of my hair and beard and was enjoyable to be around. Front desk was nice and fast. Already scheduled my next appointment with Kim
My stylist new exactly what I wanted, despite my inability to artfully explain myself, and delivered exactly that. I had assumed, based on the name, that this business only did facial hair. To my great surprise, they'll cut any hair on your head and do it very well.
Great cut and no bust on the barber, she is great.
What is take issue with is two things...one, of their policy of pay in advance if you miss a appointment.
I called and changed my appointment on 2 occasions and was informed that for now on I had to pay in advance.
Two, little or no ability for a walk in cut.
Will never return sorry.
