A fun night out. servers are friendly and fast. Table games dealers are fun to talk to especially Bill and Tom. There are plenty of slot machines to choose from. The front desk team are friendly and helpful. I've had the problem of not getting mail over the years and the front desk finally got the problem fixed, I even get email now.
This is our 4th trip to this casino and resort, and we love it. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfy. The REGULAR rooms do NOT have a fridge in them. We got a corner room which DID have a fridge so that was nice. The casino layout is great. They have a nice buffalo room, non-smoking section, and plenty of slots, craps tables, bubble craps, poker room. We will be coming back again for sure.
Older property, but well maintained you can tell they’ve renovated recently. The casino is pretty nice. They have a good selection of slot, machine, machines, and table games. You can get $20 in free slot play if you sign up for their rewards program as a new member. Not a whole lot of dining options in the area. There are a few restaurants and fast food places on the island. With the casino itself has a really nice buffet and a food court with options like pizza and burgers typical stuff like that.
The rooms were quite nice. Roomy. The doors were solid, not hollow core doors. The beds were comfy. 4 pillows on each bed. Amenities provided: an iron with full-sized ironing board, a firesafe, extra blankets, a hair blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower gel, bar soap. However, the room did not have a refrigerator, microwave, or coffee maker. There was complimentary coffee on the 3rd floor. Ample parking. Very large covered area out front where you could park when checking in and unloading your baggage. The motel workers we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel buffet was VERY good. For the foods that were served the night we were there, we definitely got our money's worth. Also located near the casino area was a food court where you had additional options for food and drinks and, there was a gift shop.
Went to the casino for the dinner buffet. The food was delicious and fresh. Everyone from hostess to chefs to the servers provided top notch customer service. My only complaint were the drink options. It’s very basic and not up to par with the wonderful options you have for food. But the quality of food definitely outweighs no wine with dinner.
Friday evening, all you can eat crab legs at the buffet!!!! It's becoming a birthday tradition. Then 4 hours of casino fun! We live about 2 hours away, so we don't generally stay at the hotel, but it's definitely worth the drive for the buffet and slots!
We went for two nights mid week, Wednesday through Friday. It was not very crowded which we appreciated. We spent a lot of time at five dollar craps, blackjack, the race track, and a little bit of slots. The room is very spacious, but would be better if it had, a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The beds were OK. We had a view of the river from our room which was nice. The staff that we encountered was all very friendly from the security check in to the front desk to the table game dealers. Would definitely go back.
Checked in last night, staff was very welcoming and pleasant. Finding the hotel entrance was stressful. Signs should be posted where check-in is while your driving around. We got in late, so the check-in process was painless. The room however, was not satisfying. Thank goodness I brought air freshener spray, which I never bring. There was a stale musty smell. Room has terrible lighting. Tub and bathroom out dated and dingy looking. Beds are mid not great, been on worse. The room walls are dusty. It feels and looks dirty. Very disappointed. Definitely not a place I'll ever visit or recommend to travel friends and family. Let's hope the casino is better, if we decide to stay, not looking forward to the next 4 days. Not very appealing.
