My husband and I had an our semi private after party at the Wheel Bar for our wedding weekend. Ty was great work with and plan everything that we needed. We rented the upstairs and downstairs portion (we had about 100-120 people) who were potentially coming through to have a drink. The bar staff was amazing and lovely. It was such a good atmosphere with great music. 10/10 recommend for a good time.
We planned ahead to use the Wheel Bar as the after party for our wedding. It was fantastic. They provided great customer service before the day of and upon our arrival, we were met with happy faces! The drinks were prompt and everyone had a good time, thanks to the atmosphere created by the staff! I would highly recommend this facility for events and just to pop in and have a good drink!
Had a great time while staying in Estes Park. We stopped in at the Wheel Bar every night of our trip and had a blast. We especially loved shuffle board and the pool tables.
One of the oldest bars in the region. They make bloody Mary's from scratch and I can tell you they are some of the best I've ever had. Bar fills up with locals so you have to be aggressive if you want more prompt service, but it's a dive bar and I'm on vacation, so I'll go with it. No food that I'm aware of; saw no one eating nor did I see any menus.
I don’t think they have food but have 5 stars on that cuz it asked. Visited this bar from Florida Jen served us first and was awesome. Then they had a shift change and Caleb was great too. My friend ended up getting shwasted and we successfully ubered there but couldn’t find one to take us back and Caleb called a cab for us, which not gonna lie I was worried about that but he took us home no issues lol. Highly recommend cool little bar. They said it was the “diviest” bar in town when I asked but by far the fanciest dive bar I’ve ever been to ???? I’ll for sure go back when I visit again!
The Wheel was my best friends go to place when he was in Estes . He passed away a couple of years ago so I stopped in to have a drink in his memory and I can see why he loved it. Home town type of place and not the try to keep up with the younger generation place . Don't change a thing GREAT place and the lady barkeepers was super.
This place is not great. Bartender was inattentive and slow. Had more interest in chatting with her friends at the end of the bar than actually serving the numerous people lined up and waiting for drinks. If you’re 21+ only it’s assumed you would be good at getting people drinks quickly. If you can’t do that, not sure what the point is. Cool logo and tshirts though. Locals only brah
I'm going to take it my review got removed! This place is absolutely trash! I was just getting off work and I needed a drink so I walked down to the wheel bar and I happened to stumble on the side walk (I have not have a drop of liquor) the bartender sees that and he automatically cuts me off??! Saying I'm too drunk ???? .. okay whatever but the previous time before I was in there with my co workers..... this guy was so drunk he 1. he didn't start a tab 2. He was only going to charge me 8 dollars for 40 dollars worth of alcohol. I have a conscience and I had to tell him what I had to drink (after he just took a shot behind the bar). If it's that easy for one to steal from there job that is paying you. Your a scum bag. I Will never step foot in here again
