A rare find in a resort town. FANTASTIC Italian food. Antipasto board had a hand sliced soprasata that was absolutely spectacular. I’m not sure where this was sourced from, but I have never had better. Chicken Riggies, unbelievably good. Lasagna wow. I was blown away by how good this place was. Nothing over $30. Great value and quality.
Wheatfields Italian Wine Bistro is an absolute culinary delight! The farm-to-table concept shines through in every dish, with fresh, vibrant flavors that transport you to the heart of Italy. The menu is a beautiful balance of classic Italian fare with innovative twists.
I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients; it's evident that great care is taken in sourcing the freshest produce. The wine list complements the food perfectly, offering a wide selection to suit every palate.
The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating the ideal setting for a leisurely meal. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends, Wheatfields is the perfect choice.
I highly recommend this exceptional restaurant to anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine and a commitment to sustainable dining.
The happy hour here is easily the best in town. Fun cocktails and small bites at amazing prices. Service is pretty good too, but could be faster. Come here for the happy hour and you won’t be disappointed.
Overall, a 4 star dining experience. It took a while for me to get waited on and then the food all came out at once vs staggered. The salad was a little lacking in flavor, but the salmon was cooked very well. I’d for sure come back and try some of their pasta, all the pasta dishes I saw going by looked very tasty.
This is right on Broadway, lots of windows, food is wonderful. They make all of their pastas and everything is very fresh. Staff is always friendly and offer suggestions (their personal favorites) when asked. Never feel rushed out, which is really nice in today's fast-paced world.
Stopped in on a road trip. Really good sangria and excellent calamari. Nice crunch but not overcooked with just a drizzle of spicy sauce.
Made reservations online for dinner for my husband and I. We were seated promptly on arrival. Staff was friendly. We ordered the the ricotta, white pizza and Famous 1lb lasagna. Our server asked if we wanted to try the bolognese topping and I said yes. Holy moly meat topping. I did not realize the sauce would add an extra 3lbs to the lasagna haha. It didn't look the prettiest but tasted delicious. The white pizza wasn't the best, dry and had a ton of parmesean, so I wouldn't recommend it but the lasagna was tasty. Just keep in mind how hearty the meat sauce is. The fresh ricotta appetizer and Tiramisu dessert were also pretty good! I would definitely return and try more options next time!
I met my parents here for a mid-afternoon lunch and it was a great experience. The hostess and server were kind and accommodating, and took extra effort to check with the kitchen about any questions we had involving the food. I ordered salmon, which was beautifully cooked with a delicious crisp crust but was tender and almost melting underneath. It was served with beautifully cooked brussel sprouts and a roasted tomato and vegetable risotto which was creamy, savory, and delicious. My mother ordered lasagna, which was outstanding. It was stacked high with layers of noodles and a delicious sauce, but very savory and not wet and soupy like lasagna is in so many places. They have a nice selection of desserts, and a great outdoor area facing the sidewalk but not actually on it. I would definitely go back!
