Best WLM Reviews
More of a pub than a steakhouse. As it so happened, we were there on music trivia night. Very loud. French onion soup and generous portion of breaded mushrooms made it worth it! Reasonable prices.
My wife and I shared the Polish Combo, I also ordered the French Onion soup, the soup was the best I have ever had, it was loaded with cheese and the combo was fantastic!
The bread for the sandwiches is ridiculously huge. So bread to meat ratio was off quite a bit. The Tuesday meatloaf was enough to feed 2 people. Wish they had greenbeans again.
Let's start with the food. I was very disappointed with the macho nachos. The chili was clearly canned and was almost a paste. A million chips and very little toppings. The Cajun burger was a burger with Cajun seasonings added.
The broiled salmon dinner was good. The prime rib was the best dish of the night. I was a little disappointed that we were only brought one pitcher of Coke with ice for refills because we all had the same drinks. It was brought before the food. Was watery and flat for the refills. We did use it all and were not offered more. The picture is of the first drink. Not the refill. We had a long wait between ordering and the foods arrival. It was busy at the time so that is to be expected. However I was not feeling well after eating. Neither was the person that ate the Cajun burger. Our waitress was very nice. Just lacking on her refill service. It was a little pricey as well. I probably will not return.
We were greeted and served quickly. Food was super fresh as hot. Prices are reasonable. They passed out free lottery tickets and even though I didn't win it was a nice touch.
We decided to give this restaurant another try after not going there for a few years.
My husband and I had the all you can eat fish. Two dinners came to over 37.00. The fish was inedible. It was so tough you couldn't chew it. At first I thought it was all tails, (we got three pieces) but it was way overcooked. The coleslaw was even terrible, I think they used the tough outer leaves. It was warm. The fries were the only thing that were palatable. Their prices are exorbitant. We spent over 90 dollars for disgusting food. And it still smells musty in there. The service was excellent, we had an attentive lady named Lorali.
The food tasted great! We had it for the first time last night. We ordered two burgers and the potato nachos using the menu on the website and calling in. I noticed the prices were off when we called but didn’t want to say anything. Once we got the food home, we realized the burgers came on their own, not with fries and coleslaw which I thought said was included. Like I said, it tasted great and portions were large but thought I’d mention the prices online aren’t up to date.
As promised Paitin (bartender) was incredible nice. She suggested several menu items. I ordered a GIANT STACKED CORNED BEEF and TURKEY REUBEN sandwich. Food appeared to be well proportioned but extremely dry. Unfortunately, this meal didn’t sit well with me.
