To go order was completely wrong. We got someone else ls special burger which was everything plus ketchup.
We ordered a bacon burger with mustard and onions only. The receipt on the bag was even correct.
Plus fries were stone cold
Plus the syrup in the lemonade was out.
Worse Whataburger experience in affluent area that their cobblestoned building has me fooled. The inaccuracy of my order, the extra patty was on side and not on my burger, the excess mustard on the my burger and when I asked for extra lettuce. They're acting the employees are getting charged for the Ingredients. Give what the people want. That's why the value has gone down hill over the years. In the future, I hope they learn to actually add the patty on the burger when it's rang up. It's probably the most lackluster burger I've gotten from whataburger to this day. If they rang up the order like they we're suppose to. Then I wouldn't have gotten as mad.
One thing I’ll never get used to living in this town is the attitude of the teens that are hired. I know there’s a general sense of entitlement in Highland Village, but this Whataburger is a model example of the rude teens that work in this area. Seriously, if you hate your job, quit. The food is reliably good, the service is reliably awful.

This place consistently has the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a “fast” food establishment. I use quotation marks on fast because this place has never once been fast.
Getting through the drive through in a timely manner is such a chore. It’s not uncommon to spend 15-20 minutes in the drive through line and for your order to still be wrong.
Tonight, I sat at the window for more than five minutes without anyone acknowledging or speaking to me. They also got my order wrong and when I circled back around to drive through lanes, I ended up sitting behind three other cars, one of which sat at the order microphone box for more than five minutes without anyone speaking to them. Needless to say, I left without my order being corrected because I couldn’t bare the thought of sitting for another 20 minutes to get to the box or window to tell them they missed an item… and then having to wait for them to make it.
A week ago, I went through the drive through and had someone be rude AF and dismissive to me while I was ordering. When I got to the window he had a terrible attitude and never looked at me once.
All of this said, I have had decent experiences with staff during the morning shift, but afternoon through night shift just never seems to care about timely or friendly service.
I won’t give it a straight one star, because I have had decent experiences and when the food is done right, it’s great. But I won’t be updating this review or going back for some time.
Feels important to note, I’ve definitely been to this location more than 20 times before posting this review. I’ve given ample opportunities to succeed.
Update 08/22/24.
I tried the jalapeño cheddar egg sausage biscuit breakfast sandwich. It is a good sandwich and very filling.
The ice dispenser has been out of ice the couple of times I have been there....not ideal during the North Texas brutal summer.
If you want a cold burger with unmelted cheese, cold fries, and half of the order wrong then go here, otherwise go anywhere else for a far better experience.
Far too many bad orders at this location over the years from mismanagement.
Will not be going back.
We ordered 3 items and all 3 were wrong. It's almost like we got someone else's order, but we got things that were similar to but not actually what we ordered. Apple-cranberry salad missing cranberries, bacon burger missing bacon but smothered in jalapeños, rendering it inedible to the child for whom it was intended, and side of onion rings was swapped out for side of fries. I don't write too many negative reviews but this has been a consistent experience at this location and we're giving up on it now.
Whatabuger has good foods and services at most locations. You can customize your order with a good selection of choices.
My only complaint is that the hamburger meat is a little dry. It's not as juicy as some other fast food places. They have a tendency to over cook the meat, leaving it dry.
Also, I would like to have a "Smoked" flavor or a "Charbroil" burger. Good burger! Not a Great Burger.
