The following review is solely opinion-based, coming from my actual experience with Whataburger Smyrna TN located at 360 Sam Ridley Pkwy W, Smyrna, TN 37167.
My family typically does not eat fast food. However, we are new parents to a 4 m/o, and it’s been a rough day and we needed to eat at least something for dinner. My wife ordered us food thru Door Dash from the Whataburger in Smyrna on Sam Ridley Pkwy. See attached pictures for what we received. I guess you can call it food. The order was wrong and the instructions are clear for our order. I took one bite and spit back out. I just can’t, it looks like it’s been dropped on a dirty kitchen floor for gods sake. My wife ate her burger before I could look at the food, bc she was very hungry and needed to feed our baby, but at this point I’m worried about how this low quality grade food is going to make her and my baby sick. This was really, really disappointing Whataburger Smyrna - and more disgusting then anything else. This location has been marred with troubled operations since it first opened.
I write this opinion-based review bc yes it’s a minor annoyance to get the wrong order, but this is more so a health and food safety concern for the general public than anything else. ????♂️????♂️????♂️????♂️????♂️????♂️????♂️
There were 2 cars ahead of me and it still took almost 25 minutes to get my food. I ordered a small fry and a burger. The fries had maybe 10 in the bag (see pic) and they were cold! I couldn't eat but half of the burger because it tasted really strange. I will not be going back!
Update: I just wanna say that it sucks how long the wait time is here for the food but despite that, no matter what tf is going on they always give EXCELLENT customer service. The workers are so polite, I have never had a bad experience with any of them.
The food is good but it just takes forever to get to you. Still love this place tho <3
Old review: This was my very first time coming here and I loved it. I came early in the morning, around 7, placed an order thru the app for curbside, parked in the front, and only waited 2 min or so for the food. I just got a water and a Whataburger with xtra onions and added ketchup and mayo. The burger was huge compared to other fast food places. It was hot n fresh, made accurately, and tasted delicious. I was 100% satisfied n will definitely be back.
I'm grateful they were open. My God child wanted a chicken sandwich at 5am.
They informed us it would be a long wait due to staff shortage. I told him it would be okay. I was going to eat a salad but they were unwilling to make me one. So we got the chicken sandwich fries milkshake and a side of onion rings.
The wait was on lol. While waiting a Corvette pulled up and we were asked to pull forward to continue to wait. The Corvette got a large drink and a big bag of food. I assume it was a online order because he got his food and was off to the races lol. We continue to wait got our food and we were off. My onion rings were delicious fresh and hot. My God child said her sandwich and milkshake were good but didn't tell me here fries tasted like cardboard until we got to the house. I tasted a fry and it was cold hard and tasted old.
I called Whataburger and he said drive back. I went straight back and gave him back the old fries and he replaced with another order of fries. He was nice enough to up size this one.
Something is off with these fries. I could tell this order was hot but they still tasted hard and dry. So it must be the fry brand, the oil, and cooking time that make these nice looking fries taste NASTY. DONT get the fries in my honest opinion.

Had to wait about 25 minutes for our food dining in. Burgers were great. Fries were cold and hard, like they were old. No tea, had to wait for fresh and that was fine. But they left the sauce off the order, I went to the counter and told a girl. She said ok and walked off and went back to what she was doing. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone else to come in from outside and she got me the sauce. Customer service was definitely not up to par. Restaurant was very clean including bathrooms.
Well, food was ok but not worth sitting in line for 30 minutes with only 2 vehicles in front. I can't really even say what I ordered was good because they got it wrong. Apparently, a large coffee is the size of a small water cup. I would hate to see what a small coffee is.

We are still waiting in line, we ordered 2 meals that are taking a while, even though the guy in front ordered 1 meal and it took forever, so now we have to wait at the yellow line for our food, so now our food is cold.
I really can't believe it has been over a 20 min wait for an order of anion rings and an ice coffee. What in the world this place is, did it became a fine dining stablishment and i wasnt awareof? Holly sweet baby Jesus, ill never going to order a single fried from here in my entire life!
