This place is hit and miss.
More misses than hit. This last time i got the new Buffalo Ranch chicken strip sandwich.
I'm not sure what their training consists of, but I'm pretty sure it's squeezing the sauce bottle as hard as they can. I had enough Mayonnaise on my sandwich to feed a small village. Like there was more sauce than sandwich. There's so much the beard is falling apart from being soggy.
Also the fries were cold and stale.
Only good thing was the milkshake.
The grilled chicken is so goo! A lot of places don't do grilled chicken anymore but a few still do. This grilled chicken is the best of all! I like just about everything on the menu and I've tried almost all or it. Thus is my favorite fast food place
I used to eat Whataburger all the time when i lived in Florida and it just does not taste the same.
Also the wait is hurendous especially for the food to be old, dried out, cold, and tastless.
My fries are always soggy, they never put enough napkins in the bag, and my wife has had chicken thats still pink in the middle on her spicy whatachicken.
Also I've watched a fight almost break out between two employees there.
Would not recommend at all. Ill never be going back to such a disappointing place and experience that is far too expensive in the first place.
If you have to get fast food i recommend wendys there fast, friendly, and have good deals and prices
Ive been to Whatburgers all over the country and was excited when Missouri started getting franchises. This location is decent with friendly workers for the most part although disorganized. They usually get the food orders right but sometimes there is either something on the burger that was requested left off or an item is just missing from the order. On a plus however.......they made me a custom order Dr. Pepper shake in the middle of the Banana Shake promotion by special request when they didnt show it on the menu as they had some remaining syrup. The place is usually clean and pretty fast service as well. I went during the mad rush Grand Opening and was pretty good although wait was a while. Not too bad of a wait these days and usually get right in and out. Overall a decent place to grab a bit to eat.
What is happening? I grew up with a Whataburger pretty much in my back yard back in Texas. I have been to this location many times. It is getting worse each time I visit. Tonight my husband and I came in for dinner. We tried the new chili cheese fries which had good flavor. The issue is they cost almost 6 bucks for the large and the put less than a teaspoon of chili on the fries.... so why am I paying so much for this item???? The cashier was friendly but the rest of it is just going down hill. So sad to see it has been a part of so many of our life's and nothing of the way it used to be. I guess that's just the world these days though..... please Whataburger step it up!!!
The place was clean and well ordered. The people who were working were polite and helpful. The manager also made rounds and spoke to customers. A young man brought my food to the table not long after I ordered. It was a good experience, especially considering this was my Thanksgiving meal.
Surprisingly busy considering that it is located in the small town of Republic. The drive thru line was full of cars, but the lobby's wait was under 10 minutes. The cashier was energetic which was refreshing for a fast-food joint. The spicy chicken sandwich and other foods I ordered came out hot. I would recommend coming here during off hours if you don’t want to be disappointed.

We were so excited!
We drove all the way from Springfield Missouri at 9 o’clock at night. Sat in line for at least 25 minutes and we had no problem with waiting because I’ve had Whataburger all my life, I’m an Arizona native and I knew that it was going to be delicious but boy was I wrong!!!!!!
As we got to the front of the line, we heard a huge altercation break out in screaming, because there was a man in a truck, who was super upset that he waited in line for almost 35 minutes and none of his food order was correct and the food wasn’t done well is what I overheard him saying. Then it was our turn????We got our food and just look at the pictures. It is not worth it to go to this Whataburger. $40!!! $40 for what old oily burnt fries and mustard burgers with bad vegetables inside???
You’re wasting your time you’re wasting your money this staff does not care about their job. They only had one young girl outside, working both sides of the drive-through by herself in the freezing cold WHILE EVERYONE else stood around the drive-through window and chatted and played AROUND which you could clearly see through their drive-through widow. Its just pathetic. I just feel like if you don’t wanna represent the company properly just don’t work there. It’s as simple as that I will never ever take time out of my life to go to Whataburger again and waste my hard earned money. At least not in REPUBLIC WHERE THEY SMEAR CRAZY AMOUNTS OF MUSTARD IN YOUR BURGER AND MAKE YOUR STOMACH ACHE BAD.
