Great food, great new management! It looked fresh on the outside and clean on the inside. I was greeted by the workers with a friendly smile. The manager Gustavo took our order which was nice to see rather than one of those managers that don't help out and hide in the office. The food came out rather quickly for the place having only a three-member team at the time. The food was delicious. And I also ordered a malt which was just as equally delicious. Would definitely recommend making this to go to spot. When considering fast food places and compared to any other of this company's locations, this one is now my favourite!!
Ordered from DoorDash. First off, order was wrong. This burger was supposed to be a bacon double which was more expensive. Beyond the fact that I didn’t get what I paid for, also missing two drinks from my order, this looks awful. Sandwich looks hours old and onion rings were burnt. Would you eat this? I’m certainly not.
RAW MEAT!! Two times now I’ve been given a raw burger from this place. I don’t need to miss work due to illness because you guys can’t train your people to cook a burger to the proper temp. I worked a job like this it’s not hard.
Hard earned money wasted……
I don’t know why this location can never get orders right! I order 5 meals, gave them more time than what the app said it would be ready by to pick it up because they always delay with orders and they still managed to mess up!! All our buns are basically over toasted when we didn’t ask for them to be toasted. The meat looks like it was broken up and then they just added the pieces into the burger. My large onion rings were missing and my daughter chicken fingers from her kids meal. I informed them before I left that they were missing and they still only gave me a regular order of onions. I’m from Texas have never had such a bad experience with Whataburger there when I would order food as I do here especially in this location. This is not the first time I have order from this location and they have messed up with my order. They are not even busy, most of the time the employees are just talking and doing nothing when I go to pick up my order. Will definitely not go back to this location!
My husband and I did drive thru service. The young gentleman who took our order was very efficient and kind, he deserves a raise. Do not let this young man go. I wish more young men we like him keep up the awesome hard work young man.
My husband and I pulled up to the second lane and sat for 15 minutes. We eventually were able to back up to go to the first lane (we were blocked in for a minute) as our order was finally being taken I attempted to mention that the second lane wasn’t being monitored or whatever. The gentleman taking our order either didn’t hear me or ignored me. As we pulled up the gentleman taking orders answered the second lane. At this point my husband and I had sat for 25 minutes without our order being taken. I understand Whataburger is slow 9 times out of 10 however this was excessive.
What can I say? I Love Whataburger and thier green Chile's!!!
This location is new, fresh, clean and the employees are helpful. The service in the dinning room is pretty slow, they push the drive through first. That's every fast food restaurants now days. Don't let that stop you.
I would return. Go check them out and see what you think and let me know!! Gotta have the chillies!!!
I love Whataburger hamburgers, and I will keep going there. However, this location on Ocotillo and Gilbert Rd. must have the worst service in the Valley. I recently complained, and asked for their Customer Service to contact me to discuss, but they never did.
This most recent botch was because they forgot to bring my order out. It was sitting on the tray for 15 minutes in an almost empty restaurant. She denied that was the case, but then the burger and the fries were cold, like an old sandwich. But instead of offering any type of solution, she doubled down that it was not old. I ate it, I was disappointed, and I left. I prepared my statement for Customer Service, but they never called. It is just this one location and manager Jose Villareal, I have not had issues at other locations.
