Only our second visit to whataburger, our first being in Colorado. The consistency is remarkable. The food is delicious and the service is very personable. On the way out, we stopped to tell the manager how fine a job the crew was doing. Handicap parking is plentiful, and the room is wheelchair friendly.
Heads up, getting in and out of the shopping center requires a lot of patience. Plan accordingly.
I was worried about this visit after reading other reviews but we had a good experience. We were greeted on arrival and our order taken quickly. I’d say it took about 10 minutes for our food to come out and the food was good. The workers were all really nice as well. We went at 10am so not a real busy time but they seemed efficient. This is my second visit (first time was drive through) and both visits have been normal whataburger speed (cook to order) and the food has been good.
Great food but the wait time is usually rough here. I recently waited for 38 minutes entirely spent at the order mic position in the drive thru before my order was taken. The cashier checked in with me a couple times apologizing. I felt bad for her as I’m assuming she was likely alone. This has got to be a management issue first and foremost. I don’t recommend based on the consistently below standard service.
There are a lot of burger joints here in Hoover. However, this is the only one I know of open 24 hours. The burgers are good along with the shakes. There is a limited availability for the Dr. Pepper shake which is available now. There is a drive thru, parking for online pickup, or you can go inside and pickup your food where the online order sign is located just inside the entrance door. You can even order from the counter. The service is not fast, so patience is a must. Also check your order as accuracy seems to be an issue as well.
Reviews are average but my experience was exceptional. The lady who took my order was training, but so nice and welcoming. The trainer was great, offering extras that I did want. Very clean restaurant, food was great, and everybody was friendly. When I come back through, I'm stopping by for sure.
I will never eat there again! It took almost an hour and then our order was still wrong! Then our fries were cold and nasty! Not cold from cooling down, no-no, cold like icy spots from not being cooked long enuff! It was terrible and not the first time to have such an experience! Yeah this store is a solid pass.
Been to this Whataburger three times in the drive thru. Spend 10-15 minutes without getting food. I get asked to hold for a minute, which is fine. But nobody ever comes back to take my order. Meanwhile car after car after car in the other lane that get there after me get their order taken. Same experience three times, and I've yet to have my order taken.
I had a great experience here! The food was fresh and good (I asked my wife and daughter). The service was good and the restaurant was clean. The staff heard that it was my daughter's birthday (yes she chose Whataburger for her birthday ????) and brought her and her cousin a milkshake. Such a sweet thing to do. Anyway it was a good experience.
