We hadn’t had Whataburger in a few months and were in the area on the way home, so thought we grab it to Go. We pulled up to the drive thru and no greeting, until my hubby said “Hello,” after 3-5mins. There was only two cars at the window in front of us. We ordered 2 adult meals and one child’s. We checked real quick to make sure we had everything, we did so we went home. Upon closer inspection all the fries with the 3 meals were a dull color, didn’t look fully cooked, wasn’t seasoned either. My daughter and I’s burgers were just okay and half of hubby’s chicken sandwich was burnt/dry. It was pretty disappointing to say the least, especially when we were looking forward to a good meal from Whataburger.
I had a very large order for a company luncheon, and everything was perfect and on time! They even helped load the car. The manager is very nice. Had a wonderful customer service experience. Highly recommend.
Visited Alamo Heights location several times. Very promp and friendly service and staff. Restaurant is always clean and ready for service. Food has always been hot and fresh, and order was always right. Mark, Manager on shift is great. He handles customers with concern and hospitality as so do the team members. Highly recommend this location and will be back.
I ended up here because a few friends invited me. Thought I would go and enjoy a simple dessert. The only gluten-free options are shakes and malts, which are limited to three flavors. Simple indeed. Thankfully the company of my friends made up for the disappointment. Learned from a GM this corporate chain is open 24/7 except Christmas. The dining area was clean and staff were friendly.
This location had never disappointed me before. One of the young girls there had dreads and glasses and she was very rude. I noticed that the food I ordered was incorrect when I received it. She was inside, so I asked her. “Hello, I noticed that you made a mistake with my order.” Besides being rude and unprofessional, the music playing at Whataburger was very unprofessional and vulgar. My order was fixed however, an item was still forgotten, I just wanted to leave. It is very unprofessional and hostile of the lady with glasses, dreads, and braces. This employee needs to be reviewed by management.
I had heard about Whataburger several times over the years so when I was visiting San Antonio I made it a priority to eat there at least once. Thr burgers were nice and the fries not bad . The most interesting part was the the guys walking around with the condiments. When he asked me what I wanted i said i didn't know since I was a visitor from out of state and that I had heard about them for years. He explained all my choices and i tried the spicy ketchup. That made the fries much better. He came back a few minutes later and gave me one of their paper hats as souvenir. Very nice and Texas friendly.
My child was having a hard time with her chronic illness last night and really thought a Sprite would make her feel better. I tried to use my app rewards but something was glitchy. The man working the drive through was so kind to me when I was worried about my child and wanting to get her some small comfort. We never know what someone is going through or how important a Sprite seems to them. I can't remember his name, but he was so kind. Thank you for making our difficult night a little better.
The French fry Box, for 30+ years has hardly ever been used Properly...pop the bottom up, to form a standing Fry Box!
