This is one of the best Whataburgers I have been to. The food is always fresh, and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. It is clean inside and out, including the bathrooms. The only negative thing I can say is that the curbside in the morning is very slow.
I walked into Whataburger with a simple mission: to grab a quick meal. Little did I know, I was about to have a burger experience that would make me question all my life choices.
First off, the size of the burgers. These things are massive. I felt like I needed a construction permit just to hold one. I ordered the Double Meat Whataburger, and when it arrived, I thought they had mistakenly given me a small cow between two buns.
The taste? Oh boy. The first bite was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. I think I saw fireworks. The beef was so juicy, I had to check if I was eating it in a swimming pool. And the toppings were so fresh, I half-expected them to start a garden on my plate.
The fries were a revelation. They were so perfectly crispy, I wondered if they had been fried by angels. And the spicy ketchup? Let’s just say I would put that stuff on everything if I could. I even considered taking a bottle home and using it as cologne.
The staff were amazing too. They were so friendly, I felt like I was at a family reunion, except without the awkward small talk. They even gave me a free cookie because I looked like I needed one (which I did).
By the end of my meal, I was so full, I had to be rolled out of the restaurant like a human burrito. But it was worth every bite. Whataburger, you’ve made a believer out of me. I’ll be back, and next time, I’m bringing a forklift.
Passing through unknown towns while traveling you think you can count on Whataburger. Not at this store. The order taker was polite. I was given #87. A gentleman came in a few people behind me and placed his order. He received his order before me. I noticed the same order taker picked up his number and it was also 87. I went to her at the counter to explain what I saw. She said no he got his correct order. I sit back down, waiting for my #1. The man took his burger back to the counter bc it wasn't correct. He got my order. She then brings his order out. I ask again about mine. She assures me it's coming. The burger came out in a Togo sack. Then after I'm finished she brings out my fries in another sack.
All the while I believe they're having manager training near my table. Employee training is probably lacking here too.

The food was as expected, pretty on par with the normal lampasas Whataburger. However, it’s not managed well. At least tonight it wasn’t. There was one employee hustling working with minimal help from the other kitchen hand, and two standing up front talking. After about 15 minutes a very polite young lady came and took my order. The food took about 18 minutes which in a busy situation makes sense. It was not busy. Overall the service was poor. Food was ok.
I came through the drive-thru this afternoon. Service was very slow. I was in line and ordered and then had to move and food delivered to truck 20 minutes later. Because of the time it took. I got out of the parking lot and to the north side of town before opening order to eat. I got a #1 meal. At first I thought they had forgot to put the meat on. I lifted the bun off. There was a patty there. I measured with a tape measure. It was a 3" patty on a 5" bun. It was an 1/8" thick. Pretty damn sad.
Just left Whataburger in Lampasas. Arrived at 1:30 on Friday. This establishment had NO napkins in the entire store. The tables had not been wiped off. How can you run out of napkins mid day on a Friday? Where is the manager and why aren’t they going to HEB down the street to buy some? It’s hard to ever come back as it didn’t appear clean. French fries were cold and cheese was not melted on our burger. Also, the women’s bathroom floor and bathroom in general was also dirty.
Great food for the same price as most other Fast Food. Sometimes less. You get more as well. Good service, Though if you get food late at night, or in the early morning hours, You may have to wait a bit.
Has the dirtiest restroom I've ever seen in a whataburger. They mixed up our order with another customer, than made our order again, but, it was not as we requested; so they offered a chocolate chip cookie as an apology. Worst Whatabuger I've ever been to, and we go alot.
