The Whataburger I visited felt a bit sketchy, but the drive-thru lady was friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, they left out the jalapeños I ordered for my biscuit sandwich. It might seem like a minor detail, but if I pay for something and don’t receive it, it’s frustrating. Small mistakes like this can really hurt the experience.
I used to frequent this whataburger a lot when I worked night shifts about 5 years ago. Never had issues, big fan of the double meat with jalapeños.
Went back today and got the laziest iteration of the double meat with jalapeños I've ever seen, as it is basically just a ton of meat with a hint of lettuce and jalapeños.
I liked this location when I would frequent it years ago so much that I would tip the person giving me my food. Be better whataburger
Ordered my usual, #2 with bacon and cheese. Large onion ring and large rootbeer. Got back to the office to something but not what I ordered. Finally found the cheese, and it was a 1/4 of the slice that they usually give. Found the bacon, but burned to a crisp. Barely any lettuce, maybe 2 pickles, and none of their incredible chopped onions. There was so little condiments on the burger all you could taste is how salty the meat is. I don't know if that is the usual amount because the burger is usually overflowing with ingredients, but frankly it was inedible. The drink was so full of ice you get about 4 pulls and it is empty. No longer becoming a go to for the fast burger mix. Grew up on Whataburger in Texas and all I can say is, it ain't like home. Can't even defend what I was served as a burger against what the competition makes. Truly the saddest burger I have ever had. Was going to give it three stars but as I am writing this review, I think I need to change that score.
Yummy! Great burger joint, I had the #1 burger meal. Self service fountain drinks as well as freshly made iced tea. Staff is very nice and they brought our food to the table. As well as a tray to pick out extra condiments , so cool! They also have a person hanging around in the lobby , attentive and ready to help out. Thx bro for opening the bathroom for me. I really enjoyed the food and thier service
I understand forgetting items but not taking ownership is something that is lost. We order 5 meal and only received 4 of them. I called back in since I was on a limited lunch break telling them we were missing a whole meal. "We didn't try to forget your meal" this is what I'm missing I'll have to drive back. I get to the store no one want to help me. Girl at the counter says "she can help you , I can help who's next" I wait for the manager who clearly has no clue I'm waiting. I say excuse I guess only you can help me. "No the other girl is helping you" I explain she walked away and said only you could help me. They all look confused ask me again what I was missing. I explain again I called back in I'm on a short time frame. No one apologized didn't offer a free meal next time or a drink. They acted like I was inconvenient them . It was a bad experience I raced back to work had to eat my food cold .
Stopped in this store today as I was just down the street. I've eaten here about 3 Mos ago also. What burger is one of my all time favorites since moving to Tucson in 1978. My last vist here wasn't that great as is this visit. The #5 was great, but experience eating here was not! Just like last time almost all tables had food on them and not clean at all. The whole time there no one came out to the dining room at all to wipe off tables. I got on one of 2 that didn't have food on them. I got my burger with an xtra slice of cheese which it didn't come with when I received my sandwich, up to the counter I went. Sat back down and realized there were no napkins around either. Back to the counter. I don't recommend this location at all. 6 people working and only 11 of us in dining room, NOT a good experience! In the 30+ years living on the SW side of town I noticed the fast food restaurants here are poor to mediocre for food and service. Other parts of town have a much better experience, getting your order right and the food tastes much better, and cleaner. Why do you suppose????
I ordered 3 meals in the drive thru. I asked for a lot of spicy ketchup when I ordered, reiterated when I paid, and asked if it was in the bag when I received my order. Got home, and I had 3 ketchups.....NOT 1 "spicy ketchup"....Also, I personally think that you shouldn't have to request napkins. Little details can ruin the whole experience. Reading the other reviews leads me to believe they need to bring in some new management that cares, and knows how to properly coach a crew. I'm a firm believer that good management produces great workers who are happy, and poor management creates unproductive and unhappy workers. That all trickles down to the customer experience. In today's EXPENSIVE and competitive world, every business needs to provide exceptional products and services to stay viable. Requested spicy ketchup, napkins, or any other small requests, should not be what sinks a ship.
Omg this is 1 of 2 of my favorite whataburgers. They're food is definitely the best and they are quick and on time. I had had a salad that I ordered on the way downtown and the chicken was kind of too crispy so I kind of was just telling her about it as I was reordering stuff and she totally when I got back she had had a little mini salad for me cuz I had ordered just a chicken to put on my other salad and it was just so nice, like something someone would do at home or something you know it was really nice and yummy and delicious No salads are worth the money cranberry apple all the way yum yum. Honestly it was beyond someone's never done something that nice for me at these quickies. Lol.
