Carne guisada making a comeback at don kukos every other restaurant I see has those wimpy cuts of meat this is the very same carne guisada that made El Taquito popular, you got to try it.
The food was good, people (customers) have been good (though not a big fan of all the solicitors hanging out right outside the door) but the service when the managers are gone really didn't go well. I waited over literally 40 min for my take out order (I believe they did it out of spite because the homeless people that I gave money to outside came in after me, got their food first and left before I got my take out order). Simply because I asked for a fresh order of fries since I had a long drive to get home. If the graveyard shift took as much time being on point and orderly as they did being resentful that night, it would've been a great experience all around. Instead, the cashier that i ordered my food from and finally got after 48 min slammed my take out bags literally in my face (when I was texting my wife why I've been taking so long) and still got the order wrong.
Ok guys. I have been to all the whataburgers in The Valley and La Feria was the champ. Stopped there yesterday and today in Harlingen. Now Harlingen is the champ Whataburger #84 hands down winner. I’m from Mission so it’s not a favorite cause I live here, I don’t, it’s just really good
I try to avoid this location because the majority of the time the service is slow. This visit was quick which was great but when I got home I discovered why. Dang fries were old, OLD! SMH! Luckily I have an air fryer and heated them up. Tea could have been better too. It wasn't unsweetened but not sweet either, as I wanted. Added my own tea to it too to make it better. One can't help but to feel cheated for what customers pay. Feel cheated. Oh well. Guess I just end up back to the location issue.
Absolutely terrible service! Went to the drive thru to pick up my online order since curbside was closed already and lane B took soooo long. 3 to 4 cars in front of me still had not gotten their orders and neither had I. You order ahead you expect it to be out quickly then others. It was supposed to be ready at 11:35 I even got there early and still left around 12:05. Then I called and complained and they gave me my order and still cars in front so I couldn’t move. Food was already cold by the time I got it and no napkins ketchup or anything. Never again!
Worst experience everrrrr, never have I eaten at a whataburger where they prioritized a large order for a sports team and then on top of the long wait our order was made wrong plus they charged us for the extra cheese nvm they took forever got the order wrong. What happened to customer service!! All the employee could say when I asked "why charge for the cheese instead of just making the order for the inconvenience with no charge" oh its because we had a large order so that's why we stay backed up, like are you serious?☹️ NEVER AGAIN! I know it's pointless to leave a review because corporate never reaches out but I'll leave it for those people who read them and want a great dining experience as it should be.
Drive through always takes like, 45 minutes. And none of the workers inside seem to know what they're doing. Always. Service is horrible. Food is good but, just go to a different Whataburger.
The food was fantastic as you would expect from whataburger. I was able to customize my burger to exactly how I wanted it. Despite how busy it was and let's face it, whataburger is always busy, the line moved quickly and smoothly. You could tell the employees knew how to be efficient and get the food to everyone fast! I've just moved back to TX and this was my first whatburger in 20 yrs and I sure was glad I came to this one!! I definetly will be returning often!
