If you enjoy ordering your food and having it brought to you roughly 10 minutes after the promise time and it be undercooked, then this Whataburger is for you. This is not the first time I have had undercooked food from this establishment. Roughly a month ago, I received pancakes that were raw in the middle, mind you, it took me 15 minutes to get my order on that day, and today I got severely undercooked french fries. I am tired of paying for food that is inedible from this establishment. It is not that hard to cook this food and do it properly, yet this particular location just seems to not be able to get it done.
The prices here are getting really high. We ordered 2 meals and it was $30. With those prices, the food should be nice and hot and well presented. But our fries were cold. My husband's chili cheese fries were dumped into the bag facing down, leaking chili everywhere. The burgers were okay. But next time I'll take my money and go out to eat. If you want fast food, go somewhere else because it's not worth the money you'll spend here. I won't be going back to this location.
Their strawberry shakes are so good! Onion rings are hot and tasty! New location..new building opening soon just down the road. New bldg open and so crisp and clean! Go check it out.
We just got 3 hamburgers from New What a Burger In Gun Barrel City. It was Awful ???? tasted nit freshly cooked fries were not either ???? Yuck, Y'all gotten too Big For Your Britches if you think cooking ahead of an order ???? is good business. That's what happened to Burger King ???? they used to cook hamburgers and you could see the smoke coming out of Chimney. Now there cooked ahead and put into a pan . So no Thank you Whataburger ???? we will not be back ???? I'd rather have a. FRESH COOKED HAMBURGER NT THROWN TOGETHER WITH WATERY SALAD
Order# 549517 7.10.2023 - This isn't the first time this has happened, it happens more times than not. I guess whatever amount of fries are in the tray gets distributed in whatever size container is being worked on. I have held up the drive-thru many times making this location and many others make them give me a true large fry. I even get pushback sometimes. I'll hold up the drive-thru until they fix I say. I travel all over Texas; this is the norm with every location. I've been a fan of Whataburger for 50 years and will continue to be, but do I have to be expecting or on guard every time? I know it's not your policy and I know it's hard to get good help. I'll shut up and go get a Large Fry. Just had to vent this time.
No rating on service because there is none!!! Every time I go here they either can’t get my order right or they’re slow. There is a serious mismanagement issue and it hasn’t been resolve in the almost 5 years I’ve lived here in Gun Barrel. This is the most incompetent, incoherent place in Gun Barrel and that’s no easy feat! Is it the tap water??? I don’t know but Jesus these people are contributing to the gene pool?? God help us!!!
Update on review. Why is Gun Barrel so much more expensive? Dallas Whataburger is $3.33 cheaper. I ate at two locations in Dallas. Both the same price. Gun Barrel Whataburger is way higher. Why?????
My food is always hot and fresh and Karla is amazing! Always so nice and sweet definitely the most respectful people I’ve seen in a fast food place. Everyone I’ve talked to there has been nothing but the best!
I placed my order online using my rewards. When I got to the window he informed me that they only allow rededemption of two reward items at time. We ordered four items and it took all of the points f[r all of them. He still insisted that I pay for two of the items. I told me it gave me two coupons for these items. It did not. My points were still used. He finally accepted the points that he already got and said we do not owe anything. We will contact the corporate office to see if this is a normal practice.
