Every Whataburger in Lubbock doesn't seem to know what well done means. Every time I order my hamburger well done one side of the meat is done perfect and the other side is pale and undercooked and pale. It happens every time I order a hamburger. When I send the order back sometimes they get it right but sometimes they deliberately overcook or burn the meat. I have been a long time customer but apparently my business isn't important enough to be cost effective. Therefore Fuddruckers, Miss Ann's Classic diner, and other hamburger servers here I come. Whataburger just doesn't seem to value all its customers. I have requested that a Whataburger rep call me back when they give me the option on their server sight. To date I have not received any followup calls.
We had to wait a long time for our order then they forgot the onion rings so we waited a long time again. They had already bagged our food after they accidentally brought it out for dine in, but they kept it on the counter. In the meantime our food wasn't very hot after sitting. There was a lot of staff but a lot of just standing around. I noticed lots of customers were waiting for their meals also. This location is not my favorite but close to home.
Always a good experience coming here wether inside dining or drive thru. Great food great service and very clean restaurant and restrooms.
Standard Whataburger high quality, just a great old fashioned burger. I dined in, the service was super fast. I had my food before I could sit down. Very friendly staff.
Idk about the atmosphere it seemed to be a ton of high school kids going there to eat after their high school football game.. but I waited in.yhe.drive thru. AnywYs i.said I would like to order the apple cranberry chicken salad they offer.. well the girl was like umm do u want chicken In it.. I was like yeah it's a chicken salad..
But I got home with it and then looked at it,i eventually called and complained because rhe.lettuxe was bitter and the chicken tasted old. And so I called and the lady was like I didn't sell any salads tonight so that kindof threw me off cuz i confirmed it was the correct store and she still.waa like I didn't sell any salads I was like hey whataburget lady I have the receipt in my hand it was ur store here's the order number and.im gonna.need this replaced.. she.finally complied.. but she tried real hard to not have to give.me another salad .. but hmm .. so make sure u get what u wany while Ur There
I visited on New Years Day technically since it was 1 am on January 1st. I ordered the chili cheese burger Jr meal with a 44 oz Coke and subbed onion rings. I waited in line to order longer than it took to get the order and that may explain why everything was lukewarm. The burger and onions rings. The onion rings were not crispy at all. The Coke was not even filled to the line inside the cup. That was the part that annoyed me was not filling the cup and I'm paying for the upgrade. I really like this burger and I get it every time while they have it but this visit was underwhelming. I've been happy paying almost $10 for a sandwich with drink and fries before and that's why I came back, but I put that food in a gallon bag and put it in the fridge and just ate some cereal. That's how disappointing it was. Happy New Year!
I'm still in my car when I took the picture. The cup felt so light so I checked and voila!
Don't ever order curbside at this location (82nd& Milwaukee) you'll just sit out there until you get mad enough to go in and get your cooled off food. The whole curbside pick up scenario is lost on these idiots. Either go in or drive thru to save your sanity.
We went to order food and once I got home I was eating the food while drinking there was a bug in the cup by the way it was inside the cup
