Best WLM Reviews

Customer service terrible. Food is okay. The tea is sour. Also missing items. I had an extremely long day yesterday so when I got off work this morning I accidentally put my order for this location and not my normal one. I’ll take the blame for that one. However I called the store multiple times to let them know what had happened even the one I normally got to called no answer whatsoever. Which means everything that happened could have all been avoided if the staff would have picked up the phone. I love Whataburger I grew up on it. Customer service and staff have always been friendly and accommodating. This was not the case this morning. The person at the window was rude and snooty. They were aggressive about handing my order on top of I went to ask about the order and it was ignored. I was already running behind to get home and get my daughter ready for school otherwise I would have gone back through and said something. However I live an hour out and that just wasn’t feasible and my family comes first. I will not be ordering or ever be getting food from this location ever again. Not to mention there was no line it wasn’t even busy. Which tells me the staff just didn’t care and they are there just for a paycheck not to provide excellent experience for the customer. I am posting a few pictures including the receipt. Do better is all I got to say.
First of all, I have always had a love for Whataburger, and that is mainly because they cook to order and don't leave food under heat lamps. Sometimes, like today, it took longer than it should. In the restaurant industry, especially fast food, one of the main concepts is "Make less, more!" The food should be hot and prepared more efficiently. The sausage, egg, and cheese taquito was excellent and tasty. The hashbrowns...browner and crispier than they should be. This tells me the oil is older and should be changed. But, overall, good food, just took longer than necessary.
Got a #5 with extra pattie med combo with a coke. Had a 45 minute wait time. The food is super good and reminds me when I lived in Texas and would eat here. The bun had a soggy spot on the bottom but it taste really good. The girl running the second line and taking orders deserves a raise because she was doing a great job seeing as how she was the only one on shift today. Not sure what's with the ordering system but it's weird. Had to give her my card to go inside and charge it and then bring it back.
My sweet tea tasted like it was mop water But my real beef is with the gravy. I have eaten at the Whataburger Out by Exit 11 and they always have really yummy gravy with sausage crumble on it. It is so delicious. But this Whataburger gave me Brown goop that resembled slime and Dog crap. Don't get me wrong I really like Whataburger, but this one really just sat the wrong way with me. Also, my boyfriend got a cookie that was literally in crumbles and hard as a rock. Not to mention that we both ended up getting kids meals so this is what is being served to children. I normally don't make reviews, but this just really frustrated me like none of it was good (except for the chicken tenders) and we paid money for it. I don't know I don't think I'll be going back at all, and I don't recommend you either until some things change.
No issues so far, service has aways been quick, lines never too long. Last time we even got large shakes when we only paid for mediums. Little things go a long way, and good fast-food service is refreshing.
Visited this location on7/7/24 at 9ish. There were no cars in the drive thru and about two cars in the parking lot. The boy that was working the drive thru was not friendly and he lied and cheated me out of a dollar of my change.
My total was $8.30 I gave him a twenty dollar bill and 30 cents in change. He gave me back $11. The receipt shows he gave me back $11.85.
When he returned with my food without any condiments or napkins I told him he owed me a dollar and he told me to hold on. He handed me my dollar and I asked him why did he not give it to me and he said it was an extra dollar. So I said, you knew you cheated me out my money? He didn’t say anything. Yep, doesn’t make since I know. There was no use to asking more questions because he wasn’t going to answer them.
After thinking about it he probably couldn’t count. Because the receipt shows I gave him $20.15 and my change was $11.85 even though he didn’t give me that amount back.
Be sure to check the food for temperature control before driving off. Have your receipt ready in case you need a refund. The burger & fries were lukewarm, stale. The Arnold Palmer tasted like unsweetened tea made with faucet water. They had one person taking forms of payment as she frantically tried to handle 10+ cars in both lanes. Thanks Lele for taking the time to call me back.
Again, what will it take to get higher quality food instead of adding more diabetic, trans fatty and high cholesterol drive thru chains to the area. I do not recommend nor expect to return.
If you need an appetizing experience drive to Johnny’s or Culver’s .
The service was perfect. Everyone was polite, helpful and kind. I had a chicken sandwich, fries and a sweet tea. The chicken sandwich was spicy but I did not order it that way, the fries were way too salty, and the sweet tea was not sweet at all. So the food was subpar at best so I will probably try it again but it won't be a regular spot I eat at probably.
