Like the original What-a-Burgers of South Eastern VA and NC, only with more of a "Chain" taste. ???? Good service and clean, well kept facilities. Can't beat the Original, though!
We were traveling on I-10 back home to Houston and decided to stop at the first Whataburger we found because it is one of our favorite places for a hamburger. The burgers were DELICIOUS. The French fries were fresh. And the service was efficient and accurate. We were very impressed!!
As I sit here typing this, I have waited almost an hour for a drink and med onion rings. Nobody is paying the lobby even the slightest bit of attention, there is no one working the register and I was directed to the kiosk to put in my order, I did, and now I wait for far too long. They don’t even have the excuse of being busy, there are only three cars currently in the drivethrough, I expect they have already made my food but left it to go cold, I guess I’ll find out.
Update: I never received my food. I gave up after another 20 minutes waiting. One wonders why they bother keeping the lobby open if they’re not going to serve any customers. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card.
They always mess up my food, never fails. No matter what time I go in. I came through the drive thru after working a long shift and had not got off till almost 12am, and the person who answered the acted liked it was an inconvenience that I came through. I made sure to check my order before I left which I'm glad I did. I ordered 2 doubled meals and got 1 double burger, 1 single burger, not made right and NO FRIES. The poor guy had to go back in and he made my food himself for me and brought me some fries.
Not I'm not surprised this store has a 3.6 rating. I ordered a double cheese burger meal, and then I was told I had to upgrade my drink because they had no medium cups. Someone must have lost their mind. She said she would call the manager for me. I insisted she just let the manager know that's why I left. It's ridiculous to try to force an upcharge.
Literally insane that we waited as long as we did for our food. THEN we thought they were just busy but my husband had never tried whataburger before and I told him he should try the malt, so he went inside to order and they literally forgot he existed. Multiple people in and out of the side door smoking like they had nothing else to do. 20 minutes for just a freaking malt.
Usually going to a fast food restaurant you almost expect a diminished level of service. Not at this location in Sulphur. I had an issue and was reluctant to even say anything about it. Ms. Khris was kind patient and very understanding. I'm thankful to have her working there and I drive from the neighboring city because of the service that she gave me. Thank you to Ms.khris and the staff there.
Went for free coffee day and they tried to make me pay. Not only was it supposed to be in store or on the app but the cashier told me it was on the app only. She then read the advertisement and asked me to go make an order on the app bc she wasnt gonna do it.
I left and will not be returning.
