Cool hamburger place! This is my first time trying Whataburger, ever! This is the first thing my friend took us to after leaving the airport around 7 pm on a Tuesday night.
We didn’t come inside, we used the drive-thru and according to their sign, it is open 24 hours a day!
I asked for a #5 combo (Bacon and cheese Whataburger) and my wife had their grilled chicken sandwich. We did enjoyed their food. Very good flavors, and they had this Spicy Ketchup, which I have never heard of in California. My wife liked it, I don’t do spicy.
The drive-thru was a quick service. Also, there was not many cars in front or after us. About three cars total during our time ordering and leaving.
The place seemed clean from the outside, the drive was well maintained also!
You shouldn't have to embarrass yourself or give a full medical history to get your food the way you ordered it. I was treated rudely and with disrespect by a child. Treated like I wanted something free in exchange for a mistake. I wanted onion rings that didn't touch chicken. Onion rings that didn't touch food it wasn't ordered with. Onion rings that weren't soggy and smashed. I was treated like I wanted a new free meal instead of Onion rings that didn't touch the chicken that makes it so I can't swallow. The manager, Xichloli was rude, condescending, and embarrassed me for having the nerve to have a health condition. She loudly scoffed my inability to swallow food in front of a crowded restaurant. "I guess I'll tell the staff not pack sides with other meals". I repeatedly said I want Onion rings that didn't touch the chicken. They responded with, so you want free fries to make up for it, you want a whole new meal, you want a refund? No, just Onion rings! Onion rings that didn't touch the chicken that will make it so I can't eat. They were abelist. I shouldn't have to end the conversation by talking over a manger loud enough for the crowd of people to hear my personal issues with food. The hamburger was also missing and replaced incorrectly.
It's a bit pricey, but most places are these days. If they had more offers I would go more often.
The points system is nice but not enough to make me go every week, especially having to budget out because of my kids.
The service was fast and friendly????. My order was correct and I was in and out of there in no time. Food was hot and delicious????I came from a different Whataburger that took about 20 minutes on drive thru for them to give me a kids meal
Raw double meat cheeseburger don't we all love that.
Hasn't gone woke, yet.
Getting to where I skip eating on the road....BK dead to me since the Olympic stunt...and I have a friend that owns their franchises in three towns.... they hurt him bad.
I've been eating WB since Corpus Christi days...1960s.
Ordered on the app for pickup and waited outside for 10+ minutes. Had to go inside to pick up a soggy burger and cold fries. They weren’t busy so they can’t claim that. Sweeping seemed more important than taking 2 minutes to walk an order out. Called and spoke to the “ manager” Juan who proceeded to not day a word of apology or that this would be addressed. Sorry service created by an apathetic culture.
Drive through its nightmare many times, crowded and slow. Dine in service is much better, fast and nice service, food at the right temperature, accurate order, many options to choose from. Recommended to order ahead from the app that makes it faster and you earn rewards. Food is always fresh. Recommended place to visit.
