What do you do when you’re on a 12 hour layover from the airport and they put you in a hotel. At 12:30 in the morning, you walk 3/4 of a mile to Whataburger. When you get there, you walk through the drive-thru and proceed to jump up and down to activate the sensors for them to take your order. Since you’re not the weight of a car, you ask the car behind you to drive up to the intercom and then you order your food. You proceed to stand in line and wait until you walk up to the drive-thru window to get your food and then you walk back to the hotel. All in all the food was fantastic
The young woman I placed my order with seemed pleasant. The receipt seemed to have everything I requested. I received my order promptly. A little too prompt as my request requires additional time. My hash browns were soggy. Bacon medium rare and the burger patty soft. My experience could have been better if I had at one well done item as requested.
Ordered the wings a while back and they were drowned in sauce. So this time I order my wings plain on the app since there’s no option to ask for sauce on side or easy/light sauce. I get to the drive thru to pick up my order and the associate charged me to get sauce for my plain wings and I tried to explain it because previously I ordered wings and they had too much sauce, she didn’t care. Then had me pull up to wait for my order even though my app indicated my order would already be ready. Some serious improvements need to be made to the app to allow customers to customize their food. Whataburger probably should stop selling wings and stick to burgers if that’s how they are going to do them.
We just got home from ordering whataburger, we ordered 3 meals. I ordered the bacon and cheese whataburger and lo and behold they forgot to put a patty in my hamburger. Its just bacon and cheese and the veggies. How do you forget to put a patty on a hamburger? That's the main part. I'm never coming to this whataburger ever again I gave them a chance for the 3rd time and they keep screwing up the order as if they do it on purpose.
Our group of 6 tourists had never tried Whataburger so we parked the car and went inside. This must be an older location based on the fixtures but it was clean and service was excellent! It took us a few minutes to figure out what we were ordering.
We found it interesting that the order was brought to our table with all the sauce options, napkins, etc. - a step up from other fast food experiences.
We requested one of the burgers be served without the bun because of a food allergy - this was done well. It would have been nice to have gluten free options such as a GF bun or fries that aren't made in a shared fryer.
If we had one in South Florida, we'd choose this over McDonald's or Burger King in the future.
Sad because I didn’t get my fries nor were these served fully ???? the burger and everything else was fine tho!
Cutomer service great, the lady that took the order was polite and patient. Also, the guy who gave us our food, Jesus, was super nice and educated. Food wise is a good flavor, and the way the burger is set up is clean and neat.
The drive thru ladies was awesome, this is my second time eating here and the food is cold I love one light over and I have gotten cold fries and burger patties…. Yea I’m taking my money elsewhere‼️ PLEASE DO BETTER PLEASE ‼️ it definitely won’t be a third time to serve my cold food
