Got here at 5:55pm on a weekday and these people took forever to tell me their ice cream machine wasn't frozen yet. I had to wait 40 minutes for the crap. I literally waited. Only got 2 apple pies and 2 shakes. They could have refunded me OR GAVE ME A LARGE FOR THE WAIT AND NOT TELLING ME AHEAD OF TIME THAT IT WAS GOING TO TAKE THIS LONG. SHE SAID 10 MINUTES. IT WILL TAKE 10 MINUTES. AND I WAS OK WITH THAT. BUT 10 MINUTES TURNED INTO 40!!! SLOW AND LAZY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!
I placed an order for delivery and everything was fine, until I received a call from my delivery driver, who proceeded to yell and me repeatedly asking for directions, and when when I tried to give them to her, she continued to argue, and yell on the phone with me as I asked her to be patient and for her to tell me where she was. My boyfriend was the one actually grabbing the food, and when he finally found her, she did not pull over to the side of the road and made him walk into the middle of traffic to get to her car, where she proceeded to yell at him to be more aware of his surroundings and to be quicker looking for drivers. When I tried calling the restaurant to report this they were unhelpful and said I wouldn’t be able to speak to someone until over 3 hours later to resolve this issue. The only good thing I can say about this place is the food was at least good, although it is hard to mess up. I would not recommend ordering delivery from this Whataburger.
I'm a huge Whataburger fan. I eat at one multiple times a week. Houston being a larger city in Texas, has many of them and most are great from every perspective. This one has consistently failed to, in my opinion, impress me with their service. The food is pretty good, but the service has always missed a tolerable mark for me.
Stopped here for a quick snack around 6:45 pm. It was busy. They took orders in the drive thru as usual, but had people pull around to the front of the store so they could keep service moving. Had one mishap with my order, but the manager Brenda came out and made sure I was taken care of. She is trying her best to run a well oiled machine and it needs to be appreciated. Thank you, Brenda!
I was here at around 5:10 today picking up food on my lunch break. The women working the counter were friendly and professional, despite being bullied by other customers who were there being rude with nothing better to do. They maintained their composure and focused on pushing through. I want to applaud them, because working fast food isn’t easy! Everyone there deserves a raise as far as I’m concerned. The only whataburger I eat at in Houston, and it’s for the excellent service and consistent food quality.
VERY rude service. Waited forever in the dining room before someone finally acknowledged me. One girl wearing a blue polo agressively bumped into a guy picking up an order and she just turned back at him to give him an ugly look and then kept on working. Terrible customer service, will never come back to this location. The one on 59 near Kirby is much better!
Went in on 11/30 around 2p.m the Manager Muhammad was on the phone dialing phone numbers with gloves on and using those same gloves to make Burgers. He was touching everything with the same gloves the handled food with. Another employee walked in from break played with her hair never washed her hands and went straight to handling food
We got our food within 7 minutes of ordering. The store was clean but kind of small. Overall a fine experience.
