The burgers come in large, extra large, and triple patty insanely large. They are made with fresh components and come standard with yellow mustard on them. So, if you hate yellow mustard tell them you don't want it. They provide ketchup, black pepper, etc so you can gussy them up. In Texas, years ago when I lived there they came with ketchup, mustard, and black pepper. Your mouth will love you and your arteries will hate you. Note that my ratings are biased by history, hunger, and Texas.
Night shift sucks. I orders through the app and the only customization they paid attention to was no tomato. I paid for 3 sauces and went back in to grab them no problem. But then realized after the double patties and extra cheese I paid for was missing. Also I got a bacon burger with no bacon??? It also took them 15-20 minutes to bring it out when it should had been ready by the time I got there.
My food was cold coming out the window! Onion rings were mushy and undercooked. Whataburger was so cold and had this funny taste to it. Used to love Whataburger, but I won't be back to this location again.
Ordered chicken and apple salad and onion rings. It took a long time, so I am thinking they must have to cook the onion rings. Took order back to my motel room. 5 minute drive. No fork, no chicken on my salad, and the onion rings were cold. Not even a little warm. Luckily my sister ordered a salad, so she shared her chicken and her fork with me. I had a Cobb salad, it was okay. No blue cheese, olives, onion. Just lettuce tomato and carrots for veggies. It was missing something. Overall it was fresh and coming in under $11 so not bad. My two son's had the patty melt. They both enjoyed it with spicy ketchup and fries.
I usually get a burger of some type but this time I decided to try the patty melt and... wow. That is my new favorite.
Only issue I had is the French fries had an after taste of some type of oil.
Today we got breakfast burgers and biscuits and gravy. The burgers and hash browns were good but not the focus. The gravy specifically was almost equivalent to water with seasoning in it. Not thick by ANY means. This should not have been giving out. If you need to tell the customer I'm sorry but our gravy isn't available because of the quality (not necessarily what you have to say), I'd understand, and I'd except that. But this should not have been given out. We've had the biscuits and gravy before and they were amazing so I was dissappointed to say the least. In the end the service was great but quality of the gravy was not up to par.
I drove thru for breakfast. I was asked to wait to order. 1.5 minutes. I drove up paid cash& declined a receipt. I waited 10 minutes to be greeted by the worker I paid asking me if I cashed out. He said something about a receipt. I reminded him what I ordered. 2 minutes later I received my food. It was marginal at best.
