Fries were so old that no one could eat, shameful complained on the app and still have heard nothing. Love the green chili double but if we carry out fries I expect them to be less than five hours old. I worked in fast food like most and I know that texture and taste.
Annoyed today. I ordered the new chili cheese burger combo and it took 18min to prepare only to have cold fries! When I asked for fresh ones they quickly reheated the fries. Meal spoiled and the burger was lukewarm. What took so long?! When I had the girl check after 12 minutes she said they're still working on it. Waste of money and time. This store is improperly managed in my opinion.
Disappointing Experience at Whataburger
I visited the Whataburger drive-thru at Laveen with my family. Unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected.
There were two main issues:
Long wait time and burnt food: The wait time for our food was quite long, and upon receiving the order, we discovered the toast with the chicken tenders was burnt. This was disappointing, especially for the children.
Food safety concern: After finishing our drinks at home, we noticed the rim of one cup had chew marks, possibly from a rodent. This raises a serious concern about food safety practices at this location.
We understand mistakes happen, but the combination of a long wait, burnt food, and a potential hygiene issue is concerning. The employees should be aware of the importance of proper food handling and using undamaged cups.
While our order totaled $55, we felt the service and food quality fell short of expectations. We hope you will look into this service failure and take steps to ensure similar situations don't occur again.
We got the burgers we got the hatch, chili burger, and the southern burger. The burgers were good. The southern burger had coleslaw, bacon, and some other stuff. I can’t remember on it. The meat was fresh and cooked well the hatch chili burger was delicious and the kids enjoyed the regular burgers. The fries were fresh and crisp and didn’t need any ketchup, the water was also tasty and didn’t taste like hose water which made the soda taste good as well. The ice is really dense so the soda stays cold or longer. A parking lot was a little bit confusing, but we did the dining in 10 out of 10 would totally recommend
I have to say, I absolutely love Whataburger! I can’t recall a time when my order was ever incorrect, and the meals are always satisfying. The fries are great, and when I order a large Coke, I actually receive a large Coke—served in a Styrofoam cup, which helps prevent condensation and keeps the ice from melting too quickly.
I also appreciate that the menu remains straightforward without becoming overly complicated, while still offering occasional new options for those who want to try something different. It’s a consistently enjoyable experience every time I visit.
Not worth the time or money!
Update: 12/11/2023 still disappointing tried again and this time they didn’t give me what I ordered online. Asked for a large and they gave me a medium fry. I only wish they would get orders right.
This location is very disappointing and has multiple problems. I have had coffee that is tea, employees not taking the order right, and employee threaten to charge me for something I asked for knowing it here si a charge. I tried to complain using the app for this establishment but no such luck. I love the food but this is a terrible location.
So I had came at 9:21 at night. There was a guy working there on 11/15/2024 I ordered a lot of stuff and he got it done pretty quickly. He was a cool guy too.
I recieved the BEST customer service from Graciela!!! I had briefly shared I had a tough day and took time to order because I was not familiar with the menu. She was kind and patient! I was tired, very hungry and super stressed. When I opened up my order Graciela had left me the most thoughtful note. I appreciated her kindness so much ???? I don't normally eat fast food but if I do it will be here. Thank You Graciela , it meant a lot!
