I've been to different whataburgers in the area and apparently they all work together. I was in at noon ,they were busy. So you would think food would be hot and fresh. No, this was not the case. Was barely warm. Cheese was slightly melted. Tasted like it had laid under lights all day. This has been the case at every whataburger in the area. If I want bad food I'll go to McDonald's. I think I'm done with whataburger.
I'm an avid Whataburger lover, I use curbside in AP and at various locations in Corpus.
I've had minor issues before for sure.
But this was the first and probably only time I use curbside in Ingleside.
Manager was rude, woman in the front register was rude snatching my bag back from me.
But let me start at the beginning.
Ordered 4 items for curbside at 1:10ish pm. It was supposed to be ready between 1:26-1:29pm. I arrived at 1:30pm. I waited until 1:45 while my 4year old daughter was getting increasingly frustrated with 'just sitting here!?!'.
We start to head inside when a worker is coming out with 2 bags and 8drinks. I hold the door open for her and she walks to my car. I walk over thinking one bag must be mine kicking myself for being impatient.
Well it wasn't mine. it was for the woman next to me who drove up as I was getting my kid out the car.
Ok whatever they were working on her massive order. I go inside. Kid is still pissy. I walk to the counter and say "I was just checking on my curbside order we've been waiting a long time." A different woman is walking up at that time and she takes over. Walks to the corner of a counter and grabs a soggy looking bag and passes it to woman #1 who hands it to me-but woman#2 snatches it from us before I even get to look at it.
She looks at it and says it's missing a burger. I'm so upset by her snatching my food because I am starving at this point (30minutes after I was expecting to eat when I was already past my usual lunch time)
I say I want a refund and they just say I have to do it on the app. I say I don't know how and to show me. She said she didn't know I ask for manager he tries but doesn't know how. I'm standing there for idk how long till they say I have to call.
I leave without my food and without my refund.
I'm disappointed but mostly appalled that the woman snatched my food from me.
Took WAY too long for drive thru. Pulled up waited 3-4 mins before they asked what I needed. Then 15-20 mins to make it to the window (only 3 cars in front of me)
Came inside last night to dine in 09/01/22 around 9pm. The kid on the register was half taking our order and half goofing off. I got the sweet n spicy burger and had asked for no mustard and substitute Mayo. I hate mustard. ????
A young woman brought over our food and while she was handing me and my two friends our orders, he came over and started harassing and humiliating her over ketchup and Mayo. She even told him to stop and called him out on it and he didn’t. The young woman looked really irritated and upset. It was really awkward but I’ve been in her position and feel for her. I hope she had a better night.
Ate the fries and took the burger home to have in the morning. This morning when I munched into it, I noticed immediately that it had extra mustard on it. Scraped off what I could but it was already soaked into the bread. There was no saving it and it was gross and upsetting.
5 stars for the young woman and her GOOD customer service.
No stars for the long wait time, the mustard, and the young man’s customer service.
Drive thru order at 12:36 AM, ordered 4 meals ALL had soggy, cold and oil soaked fries, also forgot to give me an entire #1 meal. Make sure you check your orders before you leave this location because they serve cold soggy food and forget to give you your ENTIRE order
The Managers and employees were so nice and friendly... Fries and Onion rings are super delicious great customer service
Stopped at the drive through early before fishing , quick service and order was correct. Got some Bob's good food
