Went thru the drive thru...ordered a #1 with cheese combo meal medium fry medium drink. So I spent $10.83, when I got home opened the bag and this was my medium fry. So not paying 11 dollars for a combo meal with 1/4 of a fry box. And the burger meat wasn't warm much.
We have always loved What a burger but you can tell they sold out to big enterprise. It was much better when it was Texas Family owned. Tomatoes were not ripe (green) on my burger and the fries were scant. The salad my husband got was fresh and had a nice presentation. I wish the service was faster...maybe the fries wouldn't be cold.
This store is going downhill. It used to be one of the best. This new crew they have is completely lost on the night shift. The cook had my order ready, but the cashier and manager put my online order in the drive-thru. When you ask about the order, they just turn they back to you. When they finally hand you your now cold order, because you are the last ones left in the lobby. It is a half cup of tartar sauce for 2 whole pieces of fish?
Placed my order at the drive thru. Ordered a 3 piece with extra dipping sauce, was charged for extra dipping sauce, did not receive it. The sauce I did receive was no where close to being full, I assume they were out of the normal prepackaged cups. Instead of asking the car in front of me to park, I had to wait with my food getting cold for 4 minutes before they handed out the order for the car in front of me. Staff at window was not friendly. While experience was very negative.
Absolutely horrible experience and isn't the first time but I promise you it will be the last. I love whataburger but this particular location has no respect for your food or you as a customer. Burgers were incorrect and a complete mess, the avocado along with toppings were on the outside of the burger and all over the packaging. Not to mention they forgot some of the toppings, the fries were cold, didn't even get napkins in the bag to clean up the mess they provided me with. On top every thing else the person bringing the food out asked if me if I was another customer I told her I was not that person and was still handed the order? It was mine thankfully but not so thankful when I got home. The last time I ordered they forgot the fries for all 3 of my meals. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE!
This is a good place to eat but some of the things that concern me is that fact that sometimes the sausage patties have been in the warmer to long I didn’t really see many people wash there hands and tables aren’t being clean they seem to not fill up the container with fries but other then that it’s a good quiet place to eat the people are not rude depending on what shift u come in to order on but I would recommend this for anyone that wants a decent meal.
Whataburger has a unique way of making me feel real, or traditional, like I feel when I see fine wood furniture. Something that was very good long time ago, and continues to be. It's like it reminds me of all the good time and good taste I had over 35 years... for real. Maybe this particular location has added emotional value from my kids, but I always feel that way when I eat at Whataburger. Please do more of the lovely tradition I experience at Whataburger.
This is the longest I've ever and I do mean ever waited for a food item...been waiting on my pancakes and sausage like a fool for nearly 30 minutes. I should've asked for a refund...I'm watching cars come and go, and still no pancakes x sausage. I even went inside to inquire and was told they're waiting on the batter or pancake mix... seriously. If I didn't need to eat soft foods right now I'd be more upset...then they deliver with no syrup, butter or utensils...it's 9:32am... finally driving away...ughhh
Whataburger do better!!
