Love me some Whataburger! Excellent fries, onion rings, and the burgers are fantastic. Queen restaurant though not very large, friendly employees.
This was National Whataburger day as they were celebrating their 74th Anniversary! They also had FREE Happy Birthday milkshakes and a free selfie booth the grandson loved it!
This was my very first time trying Whataburger. My kids and I wanted to try the burger, ordered junior bacon steakhouse meal and 3 chicken strip. Ordering from drive thru was a breeze but when we go to the window after the cashier took my cash and gave our drink, it was a waiting game of 15 mins. They didn’t tell us it was going to be a wait, basically left us hanging. After 10 mins I started waving to who I think was the manager who happened to walk up to check temps of sauces or what not. She saw me and I asked how many more minutes is the wait. I told her no one came back to window to tell us that there’s a 15min wait for some onion rings which did not even feel like it was fresh from fryer when we finally received it. She was nice and apologized. I wish the staff was trained to let customers know how long the wait is instead of just looking past us and making us wait without an update. Overall, the burger was delicious/flavorful, my son even enjoyed it for someone who doesn’t usually eat fast food hamburger.
Although they were not busy, the meal took about 5 minutes but was barely warm, and it was brought out by a manager!
There was a vehicle with some intimidatingly LOUD music RIGHT at the entrance with the doors open and interacting with some shady characters. (I'd say for 15 minutes or more because he was there before me)
The worst part for me was that on this occasion, the employees seemed to be in their own world, and not warm at all. This was disappointing.
Shoutout to Steve and the crew! They hustle and get the orders out as fast as they can… and they always help me out when I stop by and he’s on the clock! Jasmine does a great job too!
Steven, the manager was not willing to help me with my order. The order was sitting for over one hour as I was waiting at the counter. He insisted that he called my name which was not true because I was waiting at the counter. Steven, the manager was not helpful at all and was extremely disrespectful. I would not advise you go to this location while Steven the manager is working. Steven did not positively represent the brand.
Maybe their drive thru is not working properly, but they now have a person taking orders outside. Which worked well enough that the ordering process was smoother and the lady was nice and helpful. Patty melt was awesome! Honey bbq chicken sandwich was a little dry... maybe cuz it looked like 3 chicken fingers in between bread lol...
The staff were great. My whataburger was dry and overcooked. The hot and fresh fries were the highlight of meal. The nuggets were good and came in huge box. Bounced between 3 and 4 stars.
