We had been wanting to Whataburger after seeing soda cups around town all weekend.
Our experience did not start out well. The lack luster order taker, kept mumbling next in line. Well we could not hear, much less understand her.
I got the spicy & sweet what a meal. Let’s say the French fries were worse than McDonald’s. They offered a “spicy” ketchup, and this was intriguing. Big leap here, not spicy.
Burger looked like it had been dropped from a 10 story building, but was the best part of the experience.
I can not in good faith recommend WhataBurger and truly wish we had gone to the Asian food place.
We will not return.
Was excited to try after hearing everybody rave about whattaburger. Sadly disappointed when I came to the conclusion I’d rather eat at McDonald’s. I won’t be returning unless it’s for a malt or milkshake. Spicy ketchup was not spicy. Lettuce and tomato were wilty.
First time at a whataburger. Didn’t have time to hit one in town, figured we’d give it a whirl in the airport. Def a top tier fast food. Loved that the onion rings were actual onion rings not fast food processed whatever. Didn’t know what the creamy pepper sauce was but seemed local and different. It was a slightly spicy fry sauce. You should definitely get it. Next time in town we’ll get to a regular location. The only reason atmosphere was low is that it is Love field and it was mobbed and not enough seating.
Had lots of time to kill at the airport due to a long layover and decided to try this place out. The lines were long but moved by pretty quickly. I ordered the #2 and some chicken strips. The burger was well made and I liked that they have a spicy ketchup for dipping. The Chicken strips were normal, but the gravy dip made it better.
Finally, I decided to test the hype. Whataburger has been on my list for quite some time, granted I have tried it once before, but I could not rate it because it was reheated and horrible. I will say the burger is OK, I can't say it's anything special. Nothing stands out, and even the spicy ketchup wasn't what I had hoped. The onion rings were great, and the Diet Coke was refreshing. I only bring up the Coke because you can tell when a place crosses the lines or does not clean them. You get a certain after taste or too much carbonation. This was just right. The service was great. As busy as it was, everyone had a smile. I rated the atmosphere a little low because it's in an airport, and I had to hunt for a seat. Overall, I'd have it again, but it is not worth traveling for nor long waits. It's a very average burger.
Shout out to Ms. Chantell on the register! We got landed and she greeted us warmly. The food came out hot and fresh!
DON'T ASK FOR TIPS. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES, THAT'S NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY. Espescially at these prices. Charged for cheese I didn't ask for. The cashier who did it was angry at me. They didn't give me a refund. Undersized fries, beef patty was smaller than usual. Food was great, though. Whataburger is delicious.
Never got food. The woman taking orders was simply rude and useless. The soda machine was broken, but rather than telling me that, kept asking me "tea, sweet tea, or water" after I said "diet coke". I had to ask why I couldn't get a diet coke before she stopped acting this way.
