Not busy at all, so much staff talking and not doing anything. Men's bathroom was a MESS!
Burgers were not bad, but I really hated myself while sitting in my car with an In-N-Out burger in my rear view mirror.
i placed an online order for a bacon biscuit breakfast sandwich meal and a whatawings meal. when i picked up my food it was cold. the wings were wrong and spicy honey instead of buffalo which was what i ordered. the fries were cold and hard. the biscuit sandwich had blue green spots in the eggs and the biscuit was hard. the hashbrown sticks were cold and hard. the service was less than desirable and on top of the food being gross/incorrect it was not a pleasant experience.
Seriously be careful here. I ordered and asked that the fries be fresh. They served me raw bacon on my #5. Not a good Whataburger, please don't judge the entire chain on any experience from this store, it's poorly managed,, you can tell from the employees they have hired.
Whataburger in most southern states and definitely in the original home of Whataburger TX has the best.
They did do very well on the fries and apple pie. Still pissed about the raw bacon fr.
I ordered online thinking I would save time as wait times at this restaurant always seem to be high. I arrived at the time the app said it would be ready and went to the speaker. I was told to get in the first line behind everyone else that was ordering at the speaker. After about 7 minutes of sitting in the drive thru I finally get to the window and asked if my food gets made when I submit my order or when I get to the restaurant. I was told that it was made once I hit submit. So, while waiting in line for 7 minutes my fries were stale and cold. I asked the employee kindly to replace the fries which she agreed and was friendly. After waiting for a couple of minutes, another employee that had nothing to do with this request comes to the window with an attitude right off the bat telling me to pull forward so she can get the other orders out. When I asked why do I need to pull forward as the girl was standing behind her waiting to hand me fresh fries she continued to over talk me. She wouldn’t let me speak to tell her the girl was right behind her. She just kept repeating over and over to pull forward. I asked for the manager on duty who when I told him that his employee should be talked to about her attitude with the customers, rather than hearing me out so that he could make judgment of if his employee could possibly be at fault his response was “she’s one of my best employees” Not taking the time to hear out the customer. This store, this manager and his “best employee” are a joke. If you want to over pay for cold food and an attitude come here. If you want fresh food at a better price and no attitude, go across the street. There are 3 other burger joints that won’t try to belittle you for asking for fresh food.
Whataburger has delicious food and desserts. The employees seem nice, and they actually always get our order right. There's not much waiting around, your food is ready really quickly. When you get your food, it's hot!! There's nothing like eating a hot meal versus a cold one. This is a great place to get a good meal.
They made me wait OVER 30 MINUTES IN THE DRIVE THRU!!!!! Car after car kept getting their food except for me!!!! Cars were going from behind me to leave because cars behind me are getting their food except for me!!!! All I ordered was 1 chicken sandwhich, 1 chicken strip with a side of gravy and 1 medium onion rings. I didn't even order a freaking combo!!!! I was staring at the entire In n Out line across the street, that was wrapped around the building all cleared out before I got my food!!!!!
A 30+ minute wait in the drive thru is unacceptable!!!!! It's even unacceptable for dining in. I never got an apology or explanation. Yes I became irrate at the 30 min mark. I wanted to leave even though I paid and was waiting another 15 min or so, I couldn't take it anymore. I'm never returning to this whataburger ever again.
Lousy staff at this location. They don't even know their own menu, tried to tell me they don't sell 1 chicken strip by itself. Imagine if I had bought a 3 piece I would have had to wait 90 min.
They didn't give us our correct food and we had to go back in when we realized that, but they did quickly fix it and give us our correct order with no fuss. It seemed a bit expensive, but it was worth it the food was delicious and the service friendly and professional. It gets crowded during lunch and dinner, but the outdoor patio is a great place to enjoy your meal when it's busy. The patio is comfy andhas an enjoyable atmosphere.
I had a wonderful experience for my first visit here at this Whataburger. Everything was perfect from the customer service provided by Avery McCoy and Carlos to the cleanliness of the restaurant to the great tasting food. Made the experience deserve a five-star rating.
