Hot fresh food and staff were very friendly. Great spot to dine in or take out like I did. Actually gave me more than one ketchup!
Stopped by for a quick meal while passing through Amarillo. Drive through had a short line, so came in to order my food to go. There wasn't a line, so was able to place my order right away. Staff wasn't very friendly, but did get the job done.
Ordered the Hatch Chile meal and the Southern Bacon Double meal. Food was ready in less than 5 minutes and was freshly made. They weren't put together as nicely as at other Whataburger's, but flavor was consistent. Overall experience wasn't the usual, but at least the food was the same.
Long lines in the drive through due to a single lane. The staff only stating "yes", "no", and "anything else". The worst of all was them no getting our order right. My husband and I ordered a biscuit breakfast sandwich for me and asked them to sub the regular biscuit bun with jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Instead of getting thw whole sandwich with the meat, cheese and egg; we only got the jalapeño cheddar bun and meat, no cheese and no eggs.
I’ve literally waited in the drive-through line for 30 minutes to get my food whenever people were going inside and coming out faster. The food was cold. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at this location Id advice going somewhere else and I love Whataburger so that’s saying something, you should never have to wait that long for fast food. The keyword is fast.
This is the worst managed Whataburger I have been to. I have been served raw chicken and hamburgers multiple times. The employees completely ignore dine-in customers and are extremely rude when you try to talk to them.
Last night after an hour of waiting for food I went up to talk to an employee about it. The employee gave me a random bag (half my order) from a stack and rudely told me that I had received my food already. After being ignored for several minutes the manager finally came up to talk to me and was extremely rude and dismissive. After I stated that waiting over an hour for food and being ignored justified a refund, she snatched the food from my hand and said that I could either have a refund or the food but not both. Because it was late I took the food and she threw the food back into my hand and walked away.
This location has consistently had terrible service, poor food safety, and has some of the slowest employees I have ever seen in a restaurant. I hope regional management investigates this location and it's management and can help better train employees to improve the customer experience. This location and its management has been a disgrace to Whataburger and change needs to be made.
I stopped because of convenience to the interstate and I was leaving Texas where they don’t have whataburgers. I got to say they are the friendliest one I’ve been too. They put everything I asked for on my burger but didn’t put the things I didn’t ask for, they forgot to put the lettuce, tomato and onion but tbh I’m glad because it made it easier to eat and drive. The fries and rings were fresh and hot, shake was awesome. Thank you for the service and fresh meal.
Inconsistent but can be really good. Don’t waste your time with their curbside. They will forget you’re even out there waiting on food. They clearly do not possess attention to detail skills and rarely include everything you asked for. For example, ranch dipping sauce to go with your wings.
Waiters brought food to table with offerings of condiments. Was very good. A hamburger shop with a little extra.
