I recently visited the Whataburger location in town, and it was undoubtedly one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, things went downhill fast. The place looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, with trash on the floor and tables left uncleared.
The highlight of this dreadful experience was an employee named Tanner. His attitude was nothing short of horrendous. He seemed completely uninterested in helping me, acted like answering questions about the menu was an enormous inconvenience, and displayed a level of rudeness that left me speechless. Instead of offering any sort of assistance, he rushed through my order as if he had better things to do, which clearly wasn't providing good service.
The food was just as disappointing. My burger was cold and appeared slapped together without any care—ingredients were missing, and the entire thing was a greasy mess. It seemed like Tanner had a hand in preparing it, given how poorly it was made. Even asking for it to be corrected was useless; Tanner just shrugged and offered no solution.
Overall, this experience was enough to ensure that I won't be returning to Whataburger anytime soon. It’s incredible how one employee’s lack of professionalism and courtesy can ruin an entire visit. Avoid this location unless you want to leave hungry and frustrated.
I had the fortune of coming to this drive-through at around 4:45 in the morning.
Ordered a Breakfast Burger Combo and waited about 5 minutes for it to be made fresh. It was, somehow, quite literally the best breakfast sandwich I've had from any food establishment. Hash browns as the side seems a little bit redundant when three of them come on the burger, but they were made perfectly. It's apparent everyone on staff at the time cared enough not to cook anything too little or too long.
The food was so hot and fresh that I had to wait a few minutes for it to cool before eating.
I've considered this location above average for Whataburgers in the area and this only further solidifies my appreciation for this particular Whataburger.
It was a little slow bit worth the wait. The fries were hot!
The grilled chicken needed a little more sauce and it was made the way I requested on a white bun with no tomatoes. I was told the jalapeño cheddar burger was good.
Great burgers, drinks, and fries. My go to is the Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger with a Vanilla Malt Shake. You also need to get a couple of Honey Butter Sauces, I put that on everything. Very conveniently open 24 Hours a day. Their breakfast is very good also.
After a 9hr drive we were going to Walmart for a grocery pickup and decided to try WhatABurger for the first time. Nicole who served us was absolutely amazingly helpful and courteous. The burgers, fries and milkshakes were fresh and delicious. Will definitely comeback for the experience!!
We have eaten at whataburger when in the area while traveling. This particular franchise was the worst we have seen. The manager was disengaged. No quality control. How are you a hamburger joint and let them serve stale buns. I wish that I had taken a pic, but I forgot. Hard, cracked, and flakey, not appetizing. Tables filthy, floors filthy. Booth seat broken. Then to beat all they had an employee who while outside smoking was creepily staring at me and my family. Bad enough that it will be a while before I consider what whataburger in the future !
Spoke to MOD about Jordan's inappropriate behavior in the drive thru window. I received no receipt. He attempted to give me several orders, that weren't mine. Then when I went in to receive the rest of my order, that I didn't get, he was giggling and mocking me, like a child. The problem was not with the food, but with the terrible service and overall attitude from Jordan to the manager, who really couldn't have cared less. What a sorry excuse for a human being, all the way around.
Drive-thru adequate breakfast sandwiches. Nothing special. Took a reasonable amount of time. Whataburger is wildly popular in the FL panhandle, but I don't understand why. Good shakes, maybe? They are pretty good.
