This seems to be a well managed Whataburger! At other College Station Whataburgers, it always takes forever to get an Apple Cranberry Salad. This one is fast and the salad is perfect!
This will be our regular Whataburger from now on.
So normally I am very happy with Whataburger. I’ve never been to this location before. Today I ordered a Whataburger Jr. meal & asked for the bun to be toasted on both sides. Down the road and I opened my burger wrapper to see a burned bun. ????????♀️ I tried to eat it, but couldn’t get past the burnt taste. I returned it. Staff member was very nice. She said that the toaster just toasts like that. I told her to just not toast mine then. Maybe they can fix it soon.
Can't really speak about the atmosphere inside, used the drive through. I got a burger that had avocado in the name and thought it would be slices of avocado. It wasn't, seemed like just bulk guacamole. If I knew that I would have gotten something else. What I really wanted was the mushroom Swiss one they had years ago but apparently been discontinued. Employees were nice and friendly and such but the food itself left a lot to be desired. In N Out Burger > Whataburger, by orders of great magnitude. I said it.
Staff was rude and seemingly purposefully does not put sauces in the bag. You have to ask them for everything little thing, like a drink carrier and every single sauce. They went out of their way to overcharge me by charging me for a meal even though I asked just for a sandwich.
Made a mobile order after the app froze 3 different times (which isn't this restaurant's fault, but still). Got to the restaurant, checked in, and was told my food would be out soon. I've been here for 10 minutes now and nothing. Several other cars have received their orders and they got here after me.
This whataburger has let me down so many times it's time I left a review. GO TO ANOTHER ONE.
Edit to add: I finally went inside and saw my order sitting on the counter so I went back out to my car to wait for it. He came out a few minutes later and apologized for the wait. Got to eat it and food was good. But no ketchup and no napkins to be found.
