This was my first time eating in a Whataburger, since I was 5 years old, when we stopped at one in Oklahoma on our way to visit family in California. Now, that was back in 1973, and I remember that my brother, and I hated it! Where we lived back then it was either McDonald's, or Henry's Hamburgers in our house, and Timmy, and I just weren't digging the mustard that they put on our burgers at the Whataburger in Oklahoma. So now we fast forward 50 years, and I thought that I'd give it another try. My wife was game, and so we came in a little bit after the lunch rush. The restaurant was very clean and everyone seemed friendly. Everything we ordered was fresh and plentiful. I'll say that it's not too bad, compared to my childhood experience. But, it would still not be one of my top choices on a place to eat. For me it would be more of a place I'd go to when I got tired of my regular rotation of places to eat, and wanted to substitute an alternative choice just to shake things up a little.
Very nice that they are open 24 hours. It was well lit, food was hot and fresh. The entire stop stop was a quick 6 minutes and the worker was friendly. I give it three stars because the food was average. It was hot and fresh but the taste was mediocre with most items being too salty, the eggs having no flavor at all in the gravy being hard to define.
It’s literally 11:34 and the lunch food was absolutely trash. My fries completely cold and so hard, it seriously tasted like yesterdays food. My chicken sandwich was completely slipped and my lettuce was beyond dead. I’m absolutely livid I spent a good amount of money on some trash for my family.
There are so many awful things I have to say about this place. If I could give negative stars, I absolutely would. My husband gets off late, so 9/10 times this is the only place open to get food on his way home. I’m not sure who the manager of this shift is, but he needs to be fired. He’s so rude & doesn’t run his shift well at all. Our food used to be good. They used to know our order every time it came up bc we were regulars, and then out of no where it started coming home either really sloppy & disgusting looking, wrong, or both. We’ve had to call to complain so many times that the manager of this shift actually implied that we were trying to get free food. I have had to wait 30 minutes in the drive through with a screaming toddler in the back seat while two people are inside twiddling their thumbs. FOR MILKSHAKES. & the guy gives me an attitude like I’m the problem. I'm so tired of calling & complaining. I can never get ahold of the general manager. I’m just so over this place all together.
I know I sound like a Karen, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so fed up with a fast food restaurant.
The staff was inviting and very pleasant. The interior was extremely clean and the food was fantastic! Tamesha and Kylan were cheerful and very professional. The food arrived quickly and was what I expected from Whataburger… delicious! This was the first time trying the jalapeno biscuit and I wasn’t disappointed.
I ran across this Whataburger place in my travels and decided to give it a whirl. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss burger and onions rings and for my first time ever at Whataburger, I was not disappointed. This burger was huge, 2 patties that had a flame grilled taste, the sauce on the burger was like it had a Worcester flavor and like a smokey marinade flavor, it knocked my socks off, wipe. The onion rings were healthy and they were tasty as well. Service was fast, definitely not slow like others have complained about. When I come back I'm going to get another one of these burgers. It was made fresh to order also, another highlight. Stop in and check it out.
I tried WHATABURGER for the first time, and it was the definition of "mediocre."
The food was passable at best. The service was nothing to complain of, for a fast food place. The atmosphere was... depressed and a tad cold--something that had nothing to do with the temperature.
I don't plan on returning.
There's literally only 3 people in line, it's noon on a Saturday, and it took over 25 minutes for me to get two burgers. Staff has no idea what's going on. Id steer clear until they get some better management.
