Best WLM Reviews
Stopped by for a quick lunch. Parking is good. Interior is dated, but not like good vibes 1950s dated, just dated. Ordered a WHATABURGEE with cheese and bacon. The bun was really good, tad sweet taste. Burger was good. Not a fresh hand pattied burger, so it was cooked well. I like my burgers med-rare. Toppings were fresh. Fries were small portion. I think I spent $17, not a great value, but not too bad.
If you’re looking for a taste of nostalgia combined with the best burgers and fries in Concord, this place is a must-visit! Walking in feels like stepping back in time—think classic diner vibes with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The burgers? Absolute perfection. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, with toppings that taste fresh and complement the patties perfectly. The fries are golden and crispy, seasoned to perfection. You can tell everything is made with care and attention to detail.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole experience reminds you of a simpler time when quality and service mattered most. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. It’s a hidden gem that deserves all the praise!
Why are people obsessed with this burger? At best, it's barely at average standard.
Place is super outdated. The best example would be soda machine: they don't have one, so if you need a refill, you gotta wait on busy staff to give you a refill over the counter.
Small things make a difference, and this is one of those which makes me not to come back but to go another location.
On a good side, all the staff there seems pretty cool, super nice.
The food is mediocre at best. Burgers have no taste to them. Patties are thin. Onion rings are 75% batter.
The place is filthy. Very visible dead bugs in the lights. Bathroom air vents haven’t been cleaned out in years. Floor covered in urine.
Would not recommend at all.
Idk who this woman in the picture is but thank you for being beyond kind today. So absolutely sweet and incredible. Which you can say about most people who work in customer service. Thank you
Always reminds me of home. Today, you ladies and gent outdid yourselves. Best What-a-Salisbury I've ever eaten. Perfect half and half rings and fries! These are the only rings I eat.
I always need to stop here when I’m in the area. The food is always good and fresh. I will definitely go back. I got a cheeseburger and hush puppies. My girlfriend tried the Witchdoctor drink. She wasn’t a fan but her niece loves it. They make it fresh so be ready to wait for a little bit if they are busy.
Always double check your bag if it's to go. I've had a hot dog with all of the toppings just thrown in the bag not wrapped up properly. My father ordered a $9 burger and they forgot to put the burger meat on it. Do not order any thing large besides the drinks. A large onion ring is literally 3 small onion slices. Large fries, you might get a total of 10 fries. If your lucky. Watch them put any sauces you pay extra for in your bag because if you don't you'll get home and not have any.
