Noticed this on the way to Mount Morrow State Park. TBH, I stopped here thinking it was one of the oldest franchises of What-A-Burger. To my surprise this was a locally owned store.
The food was absolutely great. The burgers were just perfect. Tried the Ranch Burger and the busbin burger. Loved them both.
The lemonade was bad. But loved the burgers.
The service was okay. A quick eatery at a delicious spot. Not exactly my type of hangout spot. Definitely has a diner vibe.
Blind trust report: Outstanding 4 stars out of Five... Friendly service; Still a NC blast from the past hidden secret. Not to be confused with Texas What-A-Burger. Much like McDonald’s there was a family they could never buy out. Fast service; very Busy today.
In my opinion all restaurants receive 3 stars at the beginning of the blind trust report. How well can you blindly trust your restaurant? Food for thought
Each server: 4 stars: Friendly service; waiter gave her own favorite suggestion, then suggested to have a nice day to everyone as they left.
(Great friendly service consistency)
Blind trust level: 4 stars; some food preparation visibility inside.
What a great little find on our way to the North Carolina zoo. The staff were so kind and patient with our three kids and their adjustments to the order. The area was very cute. Lots of seating. Clean, really good food and I especially recommend Hush Puppies.
Love it. Ordered hamburgers, fried pickles, hush puppies, onion rings beer batter. The cashier lady was just soo sweet. Stopped here after the muddy race and this really hit the spot. Clean and organized. We sat outside and the parking lot specially around the benches was very clean and well maintained. Will be back . Highly recommend pickles. We got a small side and it was very tasty.
First time experience. Busy so you think it’ll be good and worth the wait. Nope. Maybe just the only burger in town? Waited over 30 minutes for 4 patties. Dry. Not good enough to wait that long. ???? try the mt pleasant smokehouse across the street.
Dont order over the phone when you pick your food up its absolute trash! I ordered a double Whataburger plain and french fries and I was able to eat like 4 of the french fries they were cold dry and hard! Absolutely disgusting and the female at the counter has the absolute worst attitude. if you want Whataburger save your money and go to the one on Old Charlotte Road because this one in Mount is absolute trash!
We have lived in NC for almost 10 years and this was our first time trying what-a-burger. There was a little bit of a line but it moved quickly and we placed our order. We then noticed people standing around everywhere waiting on their food. We waited approximately 35 minutes in the crowded space for the 2 burgers. When we did get our food our orders were wrong. The burgers were ok but a bit dry. We were highly disappointed and never plan on going back.
This was a nice restraunt. The good was good and the people were very friendly. I would reccomend this place for anyone looking for the old school burger vibe.
