Best WLM Reviews

We chose this restaurant specifically for their Land and Sea dish, a combination of lobster and prime rib. Unfortunately, despite arriving on the last Saturday of the season, we were disappointed to learn that they were out of both lobster and prime rib. It's perplexing that they didn't have a sign or warning for customers, especially given the popularity of the dish and the fact that it was the end of the season. Plenty of other restaurants will warn you before you get seated if they are missing a popular dish.
As a result, we settled for the burger and fish and chips. Sadly, the burger was so subpar that it resembled something I'd get at my high school cafeteria. The chips were barely warm, and the overall meal was so disappointing that even Taco Bell would have been a better choice.
In hindsight, we should have left as soon as we heard they were out of the main dish.
edit: thanks for the response: For clarification, when we arrived, the host didn't mention any out-of-stock items. We even went to the bar for drinks while we waited. It wasn't until after we were seated that the waitress informed us about the unavailable dish. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to post a sign outside to alert customers of out-of-stock items, just in case the host or servers forget to inform them.
If you're looking for a quiet, elegant seafood restaurant, this isn't for you. If you want a family atmosphere, some noise, joy in the air, and FANTASTIC food, this is for you.
My wife and I both got the lobster (I had a steak also), and everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned nicely. Good beverage selections too.
Deanna was our amazing server -- she was considerate, energetic, and had a great sense of humor.
All in all, a fantastic evening.
Perfect setting for an outdoor lunch. Very fresh and delicious lobster roll, excellent fries and side salad. Topped off with a good pint of beer, a patio table in the warm sunshine and a great view of the bay and islands. What more could you ask for. Recommended.
I read a review that said “best fish and chips ever”. I doubted they would be that good. I was wrong. They really did have the best fish and chips ever. The fish, batter, and chips were amazing.
So glad I stopped by. Service was good and the view of the water was quite pleasant.
Food is excellent! Try the Irish Nachos, you won't be disappointed. Excellent views since it's right on the ocean. Plenty of outdoor seating. Staff is friendly and takes great care of you.
This was by far the best steak I have ever had! The salted haddock dip was also really good! Great service, great food, great experience!
This was a fantastic place to have dinner with my elderly in laws. My father in law has limited mobility and it was very easy to get him and seated.
We had the onion rings to start, the aioli was delicious!
The steak was cooked perfectly, muscles app was great! Even the small side salad had tomatoes from the garden!
Our server Andy was very attentive and personable!
We will be back!
Update...went back with a group of 12. Waitress was awesome and very entertaining. I had the chicken sandwich which was delicious but a bit too spicy. The menu doesn't mention that it'd spicy so be aware!
Outdoor seating provides a great view of the harbor. Service is good, menu selections range from fish to steak. We shared the crab potato fries, which were excellent. For an entre we shared the fish and chips. The filets were not as thick as expected, would have preferred less coating and more fish like they used to serve.
On a busy day, parking can be very tight.
