Front desk staff was friendly. I was a new patient so I waited a bit longer than normal. Would give 5 stars but my son and I were there for a total of 2 hours. I was told the pediatrician was seeing another patient and they would be in shortly which was fine. However we waited over 30 minutes for the MA then pediatrician then about 15 minutes for the MA. I don’t think a basic appointment with 1 vaccine and a lead screening should take 2 hours.
I was going in there for medication and just a quick check up due to not receiving notification that my doctor had left the practice. When I walked in on 10/7/24, I didn’t feel heard at all. The doctor would ask me a question and then speak over after I was trying to answer what she asked! I now have to find a new doctor due to the circumstances of not having PCP anymore. It’s very frustrating!
They dismissed my debilitating shoulder pain as psychosomatic without enough investigation. When I had an adverse reaction to an antidepressant, they were dismissive and reckless in dealing with it. The false diagnosis of psychosomatic pain has complicated my relationships with other doctors in the years since, and I now suffer from PTSD from what happened with the antidepressant. It was just this week that I found out that they lied in my records about my pain being psychosomatic. I regret ever going to WFMC and I wish I had known, at the time, that I had better choices. I see the clinic has someone commenting on reviews. Don't worry-- I don't have the money or energy to come after you in court. Our justice system doesn't work for people like me. All I can really do is try to warn people away. Never, ever trust these people with your health.
In less than 3 years my son was assigned to 3 providers whom just up and left the practice without knowledge as well as my own doctor. I have left their clinic and would never recommend it to anyone.
I have been going to this clinic for 30 years since it was in the old hospital.I've had 4 different doctors.

My mom took me to this clinic to get my in grow toe nail removed and this lady was gonna give me a shot (i needed 4 shots to make my toe Numb ) and the lady said it’ll hurt so she gave me the shot and I cried of course and she stopped by the way she already gave me about 2 or 3 shots and she didn’t wanna continue and said to just go home even tho I need theses shots and my toe is already numb she still Refused not doing it and tell me “ a baby could handle this” and my mom and her argue. So my mom end up cutting off the In grow toe nail.( by the way for some reason they didn’t let my dad in the room even though I needed him to help me to get through the pain because I was scared ) so I recommend going to a other clinic because the people working here don't care how they treat you
The staff are pleasant and treat patients with care. Dr. Galvez and her team are outstanding.
The front reception is terrible, poor phone and person to person manners, even with a new baby they make you carry your baby and paperwork into the toilet room to provide a UA only to go back to the lobby carrying everything back with you. Offer no help. I’ve called to talk to a nurse with symptoms for another receptionist to argue with me about sending a written note, when I needed to speak to them about personal matters I did not want to share with front reception.
The doctors and staff on the back end are amazing. Without the gentleman who is traveling the front reception is a lost cause..
