Best WLM Reviews
Great great hidden gem! Well cooked meals with lots of seasoning and huge portions. Their logger is excellent everyone enjoyed it. We all had different things. There was a group of 6 of us eating took about an hour. The waitress was running! She was so sweet and the place was just really fun to hang out in. I had a salad, catfish was excellent and the Cajun Alfredo looked bomb! I’d recommend stopping here for an amazing and cheap meal!!!
We had a great dinner on a Wednesday evening here. From milkshakes, chicken & dumplings, Mac tots, patty melt on rye, to wild rice (GF) chicken with Gouda cheese. Oh… and the brownie dessert was epic! Our server was polite and attentive, and all our food was fresh & tasted great! We will definitely come back when in Memphis!
Old school spot with good vibes. Jim was great! ( I really hope that was his name.) He recommended the #31 the Jim way and it was very good. Lots of basic comfort food thats affordable(avoid the add ons tho) and quick. Jim's service was great; better than most fine dining spots. Cheesecake was real good too! I will say I overheard other servers and I can see what the other reviews say about not so great service- so ask for Jim!
This restaurant came highly recommended by our hotel.
We were quite disappointed by the server and our choice of meals.
First off, she was young and inattentive. We asked questions about the menu, and her excuse was, "I just started 2 days ago."
We ordered the shrimp gumbo (the rice was cold, we asked them to reheat it, and it was still awful).
The marinated chicken with wild rice was supposed to be teriyaki, and it tasted plain, no sauce. The portion size was so small for $12.50.
I personally would not recommend this restaurant and will not return.
???? Step in! Step up! Just… watch your step!!! #UnevenSidewalkVentures
**Gotta luv a cool eatery just off a fast-lane Interstate!** Heading from Arkansas to Tennessee makes sense, eh? ???? And stopping for a deeelish catfish basket with the frills?! That made my blessed sunny day! ☀️
To make it brief: Do the same, will ya? And be sure to say hi to Angel-Server, Miss Barbara. [Add on a good tip for her, please!] On your way out, high-five the up & coming bro, Sir Xeno. Chat a second, go ahead, I dare ya! Just don’t lose your head…
…and, yup, watch your step… ✊????????
{Street parking limited, cash/cc, awesome interior & vibe, outdoor patio tables available!}

Not for Delivery!
Was looking forward to a night delivery snack. The hotel gave a good plug in spite of the 15% gratuity fee+delivery they add on top. But a picture says a 1000 words. Catfish was on point! Onion rings... well I'll let the picture speak for that...
Westy’s in Memphis, TN, was an okay experience overall. I gave the food 3/5 stars—while the fried pickles and nachos were decent appetizers, the shrimp and grits and catfish basket didn’t quite hit the mark. The service, however, was outstanding (5/5 stars)—our server was attentive and friendly throughout. The atmosphere was just average, earning 3/5 stars. We also tried two shots of Hennessy and two lemon drops, which were enjoyable but nothing extraordinary. Overall, I’d rate it 3/5 stars—a solid spot for a casual outing and drink, but the food and atmosphere could encompass a theme to match the excellent service.
This excellent restaurant offers delicious food and a very nice staff that will make you want to come back. Don’t forget to try the world-famous fudge!
