They changed their menu, but still found great items. For sushi, the Rangoon Roll is really good, we ordered 2 rolls. Salmon was moist and flaky when ordering it with a Caesar salad. Jumbo wings and drinks were good. Took a burger to go. Next time I'll try the short rib grilled cheese...it's a foot long and looks delicious. Weather was nice, so sat outside this time, usually we're inside. This is my friend's favorite place to meet up at.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to grab a photo of the MOST DELICIOUS pot roast, but take it from me -- the presentation was stellar. And the corn bread is perfect. I finished off my meal with their in-house made bread pudding that was just as great.
The only recommendation I would make would be to step up on the taste factor of the Old Fashion cocktail. Maybe it's the simple syrup used, making the drink a bit meh.

Ordered a salad and the waitress asked if I would like to add a protein. I said yes to the chicken tenders. The chicken tenders arrived on the side. Lol. Not what I was expecting but a delicious salad nonetheless. I also ordered the bread and butter and it was sooooo good.
The being seated and the service was quick and prompt, but the real winner was the food. I had the Thai Asian Noodle Salad; the ingredients were fresh, and while it was light, it was so filling. My husband saved this place from before we were married (2017), so proof must be in the pudding because they have kept up their standards and service. The ambiance is cozy but grand, decorations and space are classy, and the spacing of the area is well planned out - bar space in middle - accessible all sides, seating around and then booths line the walls. Would highly recommend for families, friends getting together, and even events. They have a great space to host a party/event, and when you walk in, you greeted with the host stand and the stairs that lead you up to the event space. It is classy because you're not traveling through a crowded space or through the restaurant to get to your area.
My Faves: 1) Shredded Chicken Nachos, with real cheese, guacamole, sour cream, (fresh, not pickled) sliced jalapenos, fresh salsa & extra salsa on the side. 2) Southwest Ranch Salad w/ a Grilled Chicken Breast (extra $) Added. I also have them add a side of their fresh salsa for an extra kick. The Salad is large and can be shared by two people, or can simply provide leftovers for one person (i.e. lunch & dinner). Noteworthy TIP: When I order To Go I ask for extra Salad dressing to make sure I have enough salad dressing for both of the meals I will get from the plentiful salad portion.
Solid salad, good beer, quick service. After a morning of shopping at ikea, the wife and I needed something to eat so we hopped over to Westwood Tavern. Despite it being a busy Sunday, we were able to grab a seat at the bar and order immediately. Service was prompt, bartender was friendly. We ordered salads because we weren’t sure how the rest of the food would taste. Chopped salad was very delicious. Would come back just for the salad.
