I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cattiny. He is a true example of someone blessing this world with his God-given talent and profound love for what he does! As a French bulldog breeder, I searched for a dependable team of doctors as my go-to for my girls, their litters, and to recommend to my local furever families. WWRVH has become that place for me! Dr. Cattiny is a top surgeon and I know I never have to worry when my babies are in his hands. Not only is he incredibly skilled, but his generosity towards animals in need shows true kindness.
We also see Dr. Hartwick often and she is absolutely wonderful! Her interaction and patience, both with animals and their parents, is awe-inspiring. As I tell all of my puppies’ new owners, you are in the best hands at this hospital!

I will no longer be taking my animals to this hospital. I called and spoke to BRENDA and she was incredibly rude. There was an issue with my phone number under another person and when asked to remove MY number she denied being able to do this and gave major attitude. When asked her name she told me "It doesn't matter to you" and hung up the phone. Upon calling back 7 time she kept hanging up on me. My aunt also called as she had an issue with her dog and the same thing happened as it came up under my name. What if this was an emergency with my animal????? HORRIBLE
Been to the vet with 2 different dogs and they have been phenomenal every single time I have been there. They care about each person and they loved pets. The place is clean and very nice! I will continue to go there in the future! Dr. Martinez is a fantastic doctor!
Really reasonable prices and also had immediate availability due to cancellation. The vet and vet assistant were both wonderful. I am looking forward to coming back to this vet as my new primary vet for our dog. They also have boarding options and a very modern clean facility and plentiful free parking.
WARNING: animal abuse. I would not recommend using this facility at all! As a pet sitter for an elderly woman, I brought her here with her cat for a recheck. They brought the cat to the back for 5 minutes and the doctor came back and said he looked great (even though he was worse!, ended up getting a second opinion and she sadly had to euthanize due to confirmed GI lymphoma, even though Dr Cattiny said it was just IBS). While waiting for our appointment, I witnessed an employee smack a dog on the nose, scream at it and grab it by its collar and throw/slide it across the room. I was absolutely appalled by what I witnessed. Please please do not trust them with your animals
This is our 2nd time using Westwood Regional Veterinary and both times we had an amazing experience. The facility is super clean and organized. The front desk, vet tech, and vet are always friendly and listen to our concerns. Price is fair for emergency services.
I hate to write this because Dr. Cattiny is amazing, but I’ve consistently had distasteful service from one particular staff member. On 11/20/24 at 6:45 PM, I called and encountered a lady who was utterly unpleasant—completely unprofessional and a huge turnoff. I didn’t even finish speaking before she hung up on me.
To give some context, the vet had made a mistake with my dog’s dosage, which led to him experiencing multiple seizures. Naturally, I called to address this and have it corrected. Instead of helping, she told me I was wasting my time and that the pharmacy could fax over a request.
There’s no need to be so unnecessarily nasty!
That said, I want to recognize that when I called back, someone else answered and was incredibly helpful. They apologized for the previous behavior and worked to make things right. It’s because of them—and Dr. Cattiny—that I will continue to bring my pet here. Thank you to that individual for turning the situation around!

My dog had been crying non stop and shaking her head and acting distressed.Ardsley vets spent 5 months telling me it could be her stomach, her liver, her esophagus, a tumor, or maybe a digestive infection. We tried oral antibiotics, changed her diet, did X-rays and then they suggested exploratory surgery for my 10 year old dog, We even discussed possibly putting her down to stop her suffering. until finally my dog started bleeding from her ear. It was horrible! I brought her to Westwood and they saw her right away and diagnosed this horrible ear infection immediately! They didn’t charge me more for the emergency and they saved my baby. Now we travel all the way from westchester in order to feel safe with the doctors at Westwood! She is back to her happy bad ass little self again and we’re so happy!
