Office visits are usually fine. However, if you have an appointment later in the day, you should be prepared to wait, as they can get backed up pretty severely - I've waited 45 min before.
My biggest issue with Westwood is their lack of support/reachability outside of the office. First tip, always hit option 1 (for appts) no matter what. No other option will work. However, it usually leads you to being redirected, which leads to a voicemail, which they don't return. Try calling their office and getting a hold of someone for anything other than an appointment. You'll see what I mean.
5 STARS ALL THE WAY! I needed a specialist for my fathers double - vision as I was informed that he needed Prism lenses . Coming from doctors in NYC Columbia Presbyterian, my bar is set quite high with doctors . I was immensely impressed from the quality of time Dr Bianchi devoted to my dad since this was his first visit. Dr. Bianchi patiently listened to my fathers issues , even spent time on the phone with my brother who was more familiar with my dads prior case and proceeded the examination. His lovely assistant technician Eniko was kind , patient, gentle and had a wonderful bed side manner as well which is so important. Dr. Bianchi’s professionalism with his technician gives my review 5 Stars all the way
Been having issues retrieving my glasses prescription because the reception never calls back via option 3 on their AA system. This is my 4th attempt. Extremely upset with the level of service. (*Update) I finally spoke to someone with option 1 for scheduling appointment and was able to get my prescription mailed since their email service was down.
Terrible. They are obviously bought out by investors. The staff cares more about their lunch breaks than your eyes. Don't let a company like this thrive under this new model. Go elsewhere. Health care needs some reform, as we can all see.
Edit: 2 hour wait times, impossible to make appointments, spontaneous charges do not outweigh the goodness of Dr Chin. I tried for several years but it got too hard! Moving the entire family to another practice.
We started seeing Dr Chin this year and I’m so glad we did. He’s gentle and thorough with his exams and makes the patient feel at ease from the beginning.
I had a horrible experience with the office manager today. After many, many years at this practice, I will never return. This is no way to manage a medical office. Felt like I was talking to a wall! This is not how I ran a medical practice. Never posted a bad review in my life, but be prepared when you have to deal with her.
Beyond impressed with the office staff and Dr. B! This was the second time the staff quickly accommodated my children, who were not patients of the practice, for emergency injuries. We were seen the same day we called. Everyone in the office is excellent- professional and friendly. Dr. B is so great with kids!!! Highly recommended.
After my last review which was not a good experience, the office called me the next day to apologized and offer me to reschedule another appointment which I did. The second time was very smooth and only waited 2 minutes compared to over an hour the first time. Everything went well, I was pleastantly satisfied with this experience. I am happy to go back to this office anytime i have an issue.
