We stayed here solely to go to Fryberg fair, so missed the activities that were going on this weekend.|After hearing people talk how fun it was, we decided to rebook for the same time next year, so our Grandkids can enjoy the halloween weekend.|Sites were big, and very clean. We had no issues what so ever. THe kids enjoyed the bounce pad, and playground prior to us leaving that morning|We really like the later check out time (1pm) which gives us time to get the children sorted, prior to pakcking up the rv.
Our family of 5 stayed at one of the cabins for 3 nights in August. We loved the location, activities, pool, beach with snack bar and store! I would have given 5 stars but the bathroom was missing soap for all of the days of stay & often out of toliet paper. The cabin while perfect for us needed some cleaning when we arrived. We also chose not to use the a/c due to the black mildew and mold on it, thankfully it was fairly cool during our stay.
Nothing that would stop us from coming back though, we look forward to coming back next summer!
We had the BEST experience at Westward Shores over Labor Day weekend! The room was neat and tidy, the grounds, beaches, and play areas were professionally tended, and there were so many great activities for my family to enjoy! We had so much fun playing by the shores of beautiful Lake Ossipee, visiting the parks and playgrounds, enjoying Touch a Truck, playing candy BINGO, getting glitter tattoos, grilling and chilling by the fire pit at our cabin, dancing to the live music, and exploring the grounds of the resort on our golf cart. We can't wait to return next season!
We had a great time at Westward Shores! On our last night at bed time my children actually thanked me (with out being prompted) for taking them on this trip. They loved the lake and fishing and the pool! Very family friendly! Definitely coming back next summer!
This was our second time staying in a cabin at Westward shores. This time we stayed in cabin # 9, it was nice & clean upon check in, the beachfront view was beautiful, but unfortunately our beds were extremely uncomfortable. The top bunk and loft are great for children, but a little claustrophobic for adults. The golf cart is also a nice added convenience, but the one for our cabin barely moved. Overall we had a great time with family, who also rented the two cabins on each side of us. It was nice to have the Shorepoint dock for the boat as well as being able to sit around the firepit at night. I didn’t use the pools or other amenities, but my son & nephews had a great time fishing and my great nieces & nephews really enjoyed the playground, pools and tie-dyed tshirt activities.
I had an amazing stay this past weekend. My cabin was clean and had all necessary kitchen items. The staff was super friendly especially Laura in the office. I will definitely be back. Campground and pools were very clean. Lots of activities for adults and kids
Cottage was not very clean. Sand everywhere. Took out the coffee pot and it was full of coffee grounds covered with mold. Almost $2000 for the visit. I arrived at 2:30 and wanted to stay with my sister who has a seasonal until 4:00. I had to pay extra to go in. That or sit in your parking lot for an hour and half I was there for a family reunion with many cottage rentals. Although the campground was nice you are not very customer friendly.
Just got back from our 1st trip to Westward Shores! We had a blast, the cottage was perfect for being right on the beach. Golf carts were a plus for getting around the property. My few disappointments for how much we paid to stay a week - the 2nd night there our AC above the bed leaked and ruined our pillows, I went to the front desk who seemed unbothered and send they would send maintenance out (they never came). So we had to sleep with partially soggy pillows and hope the ac unit didn't leave the remainder of our stay. Also, the cottage was barely clean when we entered, some broken blinds and just lack of upkeep. They definitely just give quick a wipe down before the next guests come, so be prepared to find lots of sand/dirt/food on the floors from the last people to stay in the cottage. Again, we had a great time - but for the price of the cottages I would expect better upkeep of the cottages.
