This is the perfect local pizza spot! Great food, we had a classic pepperoni and a Pesto pizza and man was it good! Food came out fast, only had a chance to win one round on classic Street fighter arcade against my kid. (Proud dad moment lol) Staff is very attentive and helpful. This will be our new go to place for a family pizza night. Thanks Westside Pizza! ???? Keep up the great work!
I go to the gym across the street and wanted to try Westside Pizza. We came on a Saturday evening.
Located in a small center off Star Rd., about a half mile south of the 44, upon entering there are several arcade games, and mostly booths for seating. You order at the counter, find a booth, and your food is delivered.
Staff were all very nice. There was only one other couple dining in. I saw two employees making deliveries and several people doing takeout.
You have a choice of crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. We ordered a garden salad and a pepperoni pizza with thin crust, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
The salad was good and ample for two. The ranch dressing was thick and creamy. The pizza was rather greasy and the marinara sauce was not as flavorful as I would like. There was enough cheese and we liked the thin crust. We finished the pizza with no leftovers, which is unusual for us, but the tab for our meal was $25, so pretty reasonable.
I doubt we would dine in again, but I could see us getting takeout. Westside is conveniently located for us, and we like to support local businesses.
Absolutely love this place! The staff is always friendly, the updates to the game area are a hit with the kids! It reminds of a place I spent in my
Childhood after my dad’s baseball games, and I am happy to have found this gem in Star! And the pizza is *chefs kiss*
The garlic and pepperoni has just the right kick, the pepperoni is always crispy, and whether we dine in or eat out, it’s always hot, fresh and delicious!
I drive from Meridian to Star just for these wings. When I say I have tried every other place, I am being dead serious. My husband lovingly says I'm a wing snob, but I'm just super picky ???? Westside pizza is the only place that knows how to kill it with the garlic parm dry rub. I just wish they offered more than a 16 piece ???? They're also so nice there and I got to see how their delivery driver works while waiting last night. She was checking the receipts and pizzas to make sure she was taking the right ones. I used to work at a pizza place when I was a kid and they never had us do that. This place goes above and beyond and I will happily drive 20+ minutes to get these every single time
Every time we order, we are impressed. Friday night I sent my kids the raspberry dessert and the chocolate chip cookie and they are hooked! Don’t try just the pizza, it’s all good!!!!! Love the pasta, and salads are fresh and big portions.
Our family’s new favorite pizza! Can’t wait to try more from the menu in the future. We were so excited to walk inside and find games as well. Great way too keep our kids entertained while waiting for our pizza.
Westside is awesome, we have tried all of the local pizza joints and landed on Westside. Their service and pizza is great and they never take 90-120 min to get it to my house like all of the other pizza joints. I made a small comment on my delivery order asking for them to make sure to pay attention to how I ordered my pizza, it was nothing major. To my suprise, the owner delivered the pizza himself and apologized as he felt I had left the comment out of frustration. I really wasn't upset at all but it showed me how serious they are about getting it right. Nowadays, that is hard to find. Thank you Westside!
Westside pizza is one of the best pizza places I've ever had. Great food, super friendly service, and I LOVE that they are closed on Sundays. Even great pizza needs a break! Keep up the good work Westside!
