Oh my goodness. This place is in the top 10 best breakfasts I have ever had. Their country chicken was absolutely incredible! Perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside fried chicken, flavorful creamy gravy, crumbly delicious biscuit…They even gave me extra gravy because I couldn’t get enough!!! I will be dreaming of this meal until I come back next year. Props to the chefs!
The food was so delish! I had the pineapple upside cake panny cakes! The portions are huge! They fed me all day! Staff was amazing. The options on the menu are unlike anything else around here. AND they have a spot by the registers where you can "pay it forward" for a dinner and buy a meal for someone else. ❤️ Kudos to the staff and owner!!
They did alright. The food was okay. The service was kinda bad. Had to get up for napkins and the bill. But the sign "take a meal"... Top tier! Cute atmosphere, perfect location. I have a feeling breakfast would be good.
An absolute gem and a must stop for us when we’re camping in the area! There’s something about up North country diners that can’t be replicated down in metro Detroit. Service was excellent, food was hearty, and the coffee was flowing.
Great breakfast, great service and an all around nice experience. Our waitress was Mel. She was on top of her game. Friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The blueberry pancakes with nuts of course for my way were more than one person could eat. All the food ordered was delicious, hot and tasty. Highly recommended
Love this Diner! Exactly what I am looking for when I want diner food. Great service, amazing specials. They even have a board for hungry people to get a meal ticket ????
I am Very disappointed at West Sides customer service. My disabled client has been eating there for the last year, sometimes more than once a week. ( he tips between $5-10 on an Meat lovers Omelet with a side of bacon and sausage, gravy, No toast. They KNOW his order. He got out of the hospital and wanted one, we get it home… No meat!!! Crumbles of bacon. $27.! I called up there and was explaining what happened, the waitress started talking to Suzie and wasn’t even conveying properly what I said. So I was trying to get her back on the phone.., to which she said if you’re going to yell at me I’m hanging up.. I was yelling ‘hey, hello, HELLO… to get her back to the phone to Rectify the situation.. She hung up. It gets better, then they decided to play little girl games hanging up on me and setting the phone on the counter to ignore me… Who in their right mind would pay almost $30 for eggs! Do better girls!!! The customer service these days is gross, and I’m not the only one that’s had an issue here. You could have rectified this… By giving him his order
The food was good but our waitress was so busy with the regulars we were a second thought. If food had been hot I would have given 5 stars. Ironically they weren’t busy , but we’ll try again.
